Great video Brittany. I've always wanted to see an octopus up close. I haven't drawn an ocean scene in forever. But reference photos from a book don't compare to video or photos of them in real life.

That octopus wants nothing to do with them playing with it, as far as the octopus is concerned it's in fear of its life. And the fact that they weren't bitten is quite amazing

@@josephsalmonte4995 in general most aquatic diving for recreation. You're taught that you can interact with the creatures you find underwater. Usually that interaction is somewhat limited. You are in an environment that you are not supposed to be. And you are invading their environment. A trip to any aquarium. You will hear them speak about not handling any of the exhibits in the title pools. And how that they try to limit man's impact on the animals. Yes it looks very graceful and beautiful underwater however being a diver I would never do this. an octopus has a very sharp beak, their bite is extremely painful. There have been cases of divers having an octopus grab on to their head. fracturing their skull when being bitten.
