Some of the bells ar e big but cont sound crash hot. I like Great Peter, it is harmonically tuned. Some of the bells simply sound terrible and need tuning.

What do you mean, largest bell. If you mean Great George of Liverpool Anglican ca then cathedral then your wrong as it is just over 14 ton and Great Paul of St Paul's in London is near 17 tons. Also there ar e bigger bourbon bells on Èurope and also the US.
