The only question is whether you should sell when it breaks above the power law and buy back in when/ IF it comes back to it. What do you think? Maybe the new power will be an order of magnitude.

@@KaspaSilver Hey, do you have a video about how many more blocks are processed by a typical miner in the DAG vs a blockchain. I know it no orphan blocks and is more efficient, but how much more efficient? The DAG network is special, but is the ASIC special? Is it just processing one block at a time or do they also solve for blocks in parallel?

To put it simply having more blocks just reduces the variance of a miner being able to find a block especially while solo mining. Therefore when kaspa goes to 10 bps even a small miner can still solo mine and find blocks unlike in bitcoin it’s impossible to solo mine unless you are a very large miner.

I know that more blocks are good for miners and even smaller miners can participate, which is one more reinforcement for max decentralization and participation in the network, but I guess I'm asking what mining a block 'costs' on a Kaspa miner vs a BTC or other PoW ASIC in terms of time and electricity. It's just something I don't really have a handle on that I wonder about. The DAG is obviously a tsunami of blocks but I don't know what that looks like for the individual ASIC per Th/s. I know the ASIC is solving for something with a matrix multiplication involved. I wonder if the ASICs themselves are able to move a block faster than on another network. This seems like something to brag about but I don't know how it compares to other PoW. The KHeavyHash vs SHA-256 or whatever other PoW hashes are being used on other networks. Maybe it is just a 1 to 1 in terms of speed and electricity on the level of the miner. All this news about the largest miner coming in had me wondering.

@@ginoblinders1980 I went through a Kaspa mining video. Followed directions to a T, and still got an error message. I guess mining is for a special breed of people. I'll keep digging, maybe I'll figure it out someday with my windows PC.

But the whole thing with kaspa is that you don't need expensive equipment to mine (valid transaction) because the fact blockDAG, high bps... and if I understand correctly I could theoretically valide my own transaction ( if I met all the consensus) so even if there are big companies, is there a real problem? Haha I am not a miner so correct me if I am wrong

It’s only a problem if a single entity gained over 51% AND wanted to be malicious. This would costs lots of $$$ to pull off and won’t even be profitable to be malicious. It’s more profitable to be a honest miner.

They are set to be 16% of the global hash rate, and I doubt they'll go beyond that. I've heard them say before that they won't feel comfortable being over 15% of the bitcoin global hash rate. I assume because of the optics, and to prevent centralization.
