Wow, Poly, just wow! What a Scraptacular day for you. Congratulations! Did you find an appliance graveyard or what? Can't wait for round two. SuhSuhsweet! Much love from America my friend. Stay safe, stay healthy. 😝😝😝💜💜💜 P.S. I know you said you don't have the time to take the motors out, but from what I've seen on the scraping channels I watch, if you flip the washing machines upside down, whack the motor itself a couple of times with a sledgehammer and bang, they come out pretty easily. Just a thought/idea for you to try sometime. Do it a few times and you know where exactly to hit it in the sweet spot. I don't know if you watch him, but that's how Vandal Vlogs from the UK does it.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Yes I know the technique you are talking about. It might of been vandal or the 2 scrap car uk guys that I saw do it. I must check it out again and start practicing. Thanks TJ! 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Oh yes, what a great pick up, and you've got the same again left by the looks. Nice pay day. 👍💪

I've never seen a trailer with a front gate before (here in the U.S.). The narrow driveway, the ability to run the boxes up the trailer and onto your truck is a great feature. You've also used it for long sheet metal extending out over the tongue. That video was the first time I saw you utilize it. Real handy. Hopefully your new trailer will have similar features and other good ideas. Now if you could get gigs like this one, more often. Picking up someone's huge collection is so much easier (and quicker) than going house to house.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Yes the trailer I have my eye on has this feature. Super handy! This pick up was a once in a lifetime. I doubt I’d ever see a sea of white goods like this ever again.

Great score. Scrap and cardio. It's high volume scrapping. Great not having to go miles to find a load of metal.

Great score and for taking out the motors and wiring that okay if you had 1 maybe 2 but it would take a couple days to do that many. Oh is there away you can turn up mic volume?
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
I’ll look into the mic setup. I bought a foam mic cover to cut the wind and it muffles the sound slightly. I might be able to tweak the levels when editing. Thanks for the feedback Wayne

That was awesome, was the person a repairman? If they were, they seemed to be a lot that wasn't repairable. Thank you for the adventure.
@christopherjacobs27462 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing maybe a repairman.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Yes he is a repairman and he did let it build up. Thanks for watching 😊
@zlatanmorrison81822 жыл бұрын
Never seen that many appliances together outside of an actual electrical shop! what was the story? was the householder a scrapper also?
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Apparently he repaired and resold them. Not a scrapper, but may well be now. I gave him some tips and he jagged himself a removals truck and followed me to the scrapyard.
@alancedre20502 жыл бұрын
why don't you stock it first in your own yard and clean it up/dismantle to separate some motors,copper,alum. wires so that you might paid a lot.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
Hey Alan. I wish! though I don’t really have a yard and my storage unit is not massive. I was concerned about the extra hour it would take per trip also. Thanks for watching 😊

Repairman ? ? Not a repairman for specific customers, looking at that. If there were customers waiting on those then they'd be waiting forever to get their goods serviced. Those have to be peoples' cast offs which he's collected with the idea of fixing up, and he was good for accumulating them but not for servicing and / or selling them on. He has let that project get totally away on him. What he has done is centralise a stack of white good write offs for someone else to make a scrap buck on.
@PolyProphet2 жыл бұрын
I agree Jongle and I am happy to be that someone scrapping them 😉

No worries my friend. Your English is good. It’s illegal for us to let the gas from a refrigerator out so I skip them. Time is usually why I do it the way I do 🙂
