5 penalty points, £1,500 fine, £100 costs, £150 victim surcharge. One of the more psychopathic 4x4 drivers (in my opinion) I've encountered. Absolutely no concern for anyone else bar herself. p.s. speaking generally, there is a video by @Mark Rober suggesting that psychopaths are more likely to buy SUVs than other car types. See here - it's a great video: • Turtles or Snakes- Whi... !

As a former police officer in London I think this guy is an absolute tool. The arrogance of this cyclist who’s taking the law in his own hands is an outrage. If he wants to be a traffic cop be one. He’s only doing this so he can film and make money from KZfaq. Worst kind of human and one day he’s gonna piss off the wrong driver

Thanks very much Robert! You can laugh at Ian - it's pure sour grapes. If I have the story correct he's the son of a driver who got convicted by one of my videos. Shamefully, that driver didn't show any remorse for his driving, having had a speeding conviction and a red light jumping conviction before he got the mobile conviction to take him to 12 points. He would have been disqualified, but was able to plead exceptional hardship. You can see comments from someone purporting to be the driver on the video for MV17BMZ with the same surname. At the time in court I felt glad he wasn't disqualified, but given those subsequent comments I'm considerably less impressed. I feel quite unimpressed at how that driver was unable to accept responsibility for his road pirate behaviour and wanted to blame everyone else but himself.

CyclingMikey calm down. He picked up the phone for a work call in a 15 mph zone for 10 seconds while backed up in standstill traffic. If disqualified that would have been career and home gone. You must be very proud of yourself. My comments have no baring on that incident anyways. I just don’t agree with the morality of what you do

Since she didn't even turn right there, I'm completely baffled by what she was planning to accomplish. Even if Mikey wasn't there, she still would have ended up stuck on the wrong side of the road with traffic in front of her and unable to get back into the correct side because of the queue she was so eager to overtake! I would personally not bother with the manourve she tried especially somewhere as busy as London and on a turn that where the view is restricted and there is a central traffic island present since all these factors mean its very likely to backfire on you. All those issues I mentioned are before even taking into account the fact its breaking the law.

@@sandcroft2924 ..............I know i will probably get a lot of hate comments for this post - but I strongly believe this horrid mentality was as a result of Thatcherism. Thatcher's 'I, I, I....Me, Me, Me....Self, Self, Self mindset. Where you are judged by the amount of money you make, car you drive, clothes you wear, house you live in etc etc - rather than the kind of person you are. Where the poor and disadvantaged are demonized and being arrogant, uncaring and ruthlessly self-absorbed is lauded. Where [as Rutger Bregman rightly argues] making a genuine contribution to society is criminally under-valued and exploited, yet those in completely non-productive, worthless jobs are rewarded with obscenely massive salaries. This undeserved sense of entitlement deludes these people into believing that they are better than everyone else, are above the law and worse still [and something that evil bitch Thatcher was unrivalled in] the ability to NEVER, EVER admit you are wrong - even when it's patently obvious you are!

What SHOULD happen is the I'm-too-important-to-wait-in-traffic driver should be made to wait as long as it takes to get back in line at the end of the queue. Then they can explain to their boss why they're late for work.
