Very cool. I use to use map gas to melt glass. Great idea on saving up all the different metals that are worth something for a rainy day.

Yep, got forced to melt both buttons together! Honestly I didn’t want to do that! That was the last thing on my mind, actually I wasn’t even thinking that! But had to figure out something! On the fly I said hey I have a big ass Button I just melted! Now I’ll have to change the thumbnail now! Big Button now! LoL

Awesome melt brother. I use a dremel on my pours to clean them up. After this video I might have to go out and do a pour. Pour a nice gold bar. I need to get a set of stamps to mark my bars with. Make them look official. Thank you for all you do and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Propane can also melt gold! The touch is key! I use a speed tip touch that gets blazing hot! So no matter mapp gas or propane you’ll melt gold with no problems

10g of 14k and 10g of 18k plus alittle burn off of the nickel & copper purifys it just a tad it’s closer to the 18k+ mark! The high yellow color and content leans to purer gold but still not close to 24k, but but but I’ll still sell that hunk at 24k market! 8 offers on it, just not sure I’m ready to part with it! Kinda love it!

@@GoldenpaydirtReviews I purify gold with out acid or other chemicals in the flux it doesn't change the karat gold value, it is a nice 20 gram button but not that high in karat it about 16k
