The World's Largest Kite (2005-), the Flag of Kuwait. Area: 1019 m². Collapsed weight: 200 kg. Volume: 4500 cubic m. Plenty of other kites bigger than this. Guatemalan and Japanese kites sometimes need over 30 men to fly them. La Rock delta over 400 sq ft in area, 20 ft tall and 40 ft wide.

That Barbados kite is a dwarf compared to Japanese and Guatemalan kites. Record is Peter Lynn flag of Kuwait kite at 1019 sq meters.

No, look in the Guinness World Records. The Peter Lynn, Kuwait flag kite, at 1019 sq metres, is the biggest.
