The reason the event maps have such a low cap, is most likely to allow low level players to get the contracts/learn how to collaborate. I understand your reasoning though.

Honestly, what annoys me about this game is that unless you have like 4 people you can’t do a lot of the maps. And I know there are weird duo strategies to a lot of them, but what’s the fun in copying other people’s strategies off KZfaq? Tower Heroes is a great game, but they make the wrong maps way too difficult.

for roliday rumble you can spam high placement towers ( i normally use frank ) and only upgrade 1 or 2 the stun bots would normally attack the lower level heroes because of how many there are well atleast from my experience

I also hate how they balance their characters. For example, Beetrice, Jester, and Volt are all characters that can be unlocked by beating a hard map, yet all of them are not that great once you use them in an actual match.

ill be honest i actually like the new difficulty spike in some of these new maps, it requires you to think outside the box for how to clear certain wave thresholds and continue the rest of the game just fine. doing pumpkin paranoia and frigid fortress for the first time both felt like when bleak barrens first released when i was playing it with my buddies and it was really fun seeing the difficulty spike. personally i didnt find tidal takedown, library, or roliday rumble to be difficult that much at all, but i see if the level and skull rating of the map can make the difficult misleading for new players. pumpkin paranoia and frigid fortress are also probably low leveled so that people have the chance to try out the map regardless of the level since everybody wants to try out the new content when an update releases, (but yeah its understandable how its misleading and how if they're a low level they could just try out the other event maps instead if they're new to the game.) but yeah ive just been enjoying the change of pace for the maps instead of some easy map that you can get done with in an hour tops on update day. what i'd say is the main issue of tower heroes is how a ton of towers get outright overshadowed by others, but thats another topic for another day

roliday rumble isnt for beginers though because you need facility raid unlocked

I like the maps being hard because you dont finish it in 10 minutes and never play it again. Plus it feels more like an accomplishment

Roliday rumble easy there is only 2 hard things about it 1. early but just get your friend/alt/random to send u mana to get it upgraded 2. electric lightshow use spec abilitys

the painest problem in the roliday rumble map that you cant bring these struggling heroes dont bring yasuke he is struggling at electric lightshow and don't use voca she keeps being useful at her fireowrks at electric lightshow and dont bring beebo bc he struggled his ice creams at electric lightshow it's very useful at electric lightshow so dont bring them there dont bring beetrice jester or volt in there

my main issue is tidal takedown having bombies and how maps arent really tested besides doing hard mode once

i just dont like how all of the maps arent soloable

I’m not going to lie, the high unbalance of maps makes the game MORE FUN. Since you get bored when the game gets too easy, right?

Listen, the problem with the game is not the map difficulty or the map design, is the amount of useless towers in the game that got brutally nerfed, tell me about one single hard map that can be done without using fences, branch, scientist’s, maitake, spectre, bp, dd, cats, hot dog frank, dumpster child, Stella and wizard. Man , the rest of the units are trash, you can only use 12 units out of 33 units and 4 of them are supports leaving aside only 8 units to use that are top meta, because the rest of them are very weak at the end game, and bosses keep spiking up to half a million hp, before goblino every single hard boss was impossible to solo, that’s just how important it was to give a unit to people so they could balance bosses, now every map gets harder and units gets less competitive, and I’m not even talking about the hard it gets if you play with 4,5 or 6 persons in a game, when the mana just get stupid, so people decide to make another account and play on duo.

The only way The Library is hard is actually on hard mode...

The Library and Roliday Rumble aren’t hard as long as you aren’t soloing. Tidal Takedown isn’t hard as long as you have Maitake. Aftermath isn’t hard as long as you have at least 2 players or if you know what you’re doing. Pumpkin Paranoia and Frigid Fortress have to be level 10+ because they’re event maps.

Ah yes o hate how they made pumpkin paranoia a lvl 5 map when it is really a lvl 40 in my opinion

I would change requirements for non event maps to this. Lvl0+ castle town glowing glacier corporate chaos lvl5+ volcano valley sneaky swamp Lvl 10+ radiant reef facility frenzy canyon calamity desolate desert lvl 15+ rooftop rumble grand garage facility raid lvl20+ frantic forest cloudy catastrophe lvl 25+ abandoned alleyway pirate panic chaos kingdom Lvl 30+ silent sanctuary lvl 35+ tidal takedown sacred shrine blastech barrage lvl 40+ alien attack timeless tower lvl 50+ honeycomb heist bleak barrens. This is all based on difficulty all throughout the match. Chaos kingdom would be lower but it has that final boss esthetic even though its easier than slime king

Fr i like hard maps, buuut the needed lvl of them that make them almost impossible cuz brainless players who place wizard and chefs randomly.

Roliday rumble is level 25+ so you should have good enough heroes to beat it. Had a level 4 maitake until like wave 30
