The nose dropped so the pilots could see the runway. An RC plane doesn't need it, but the fact that it does is awesome.

What a gorgeous model! The curves on the wing are captivating. Also love how the demo pilot snuck in a couple of rolls without them looking out of place for this scale airliner. Landing was perfection!

When you think that the WW1 fighter plane, the Sopwith Pup, had a length of 5.88 metres...so this 'model' is almost exactly double that in length. Just wow! Well done guys.

That thing is going slow, not anything even close to speed of sound. Other smaller RCs can get up to like 450mph I think that's the record. Dont think RC sound barrier is possible today. Sound is like 770mph.

@@marklichem Radio travels at the speed of light, not the speed of sound Just standing at the equator, you are moving at the speed of sound due to the earths rotation, but it doesnt effect the RC.

that was superb. was walking my dog 1990 Bulwell Hall Park when Concorde did a very low fly by and banked around the park. Rolls Royce underground testing facility is the next field over. This reminds me so much of that event. And almost nobody was on the park at the time. Top job!

I WORKED FOR BA INTHE 80’S ANDI USED TO WALK UNDER ALL OF THE CONCORDS based at Heathrow, this ia truely awesome reproduction of a great aircraft and the controller is also great. Thanks for sharing your flight.

This guy should approach hollywood. Plenty of demand for practical rather than CG effects atm - or a combination of the two. I'd love to see a film with this quality of models, just play around with the speed slightly.

It's the world's only flying concord. How nerve racking... love to see it fly. Glad to see it land! So much work went into that, I could not pilot that with a shot of everclear,lol. Just enough for nerves... Then I'd fly it Inverted, then exclaim to ntsb how I saved lives....

CRAZY!! That is incredible. I'll estimate cost of engines alone is perhaps well in excess of $25,000. Wondering too, how the heck that can be transported to a flying site - even in discrete parts. Where does even an experienced pilot find the courage to risk flying it! What a beautiful sight to watch - very nicely flown. .. what a great landing too. Lucky it seems with that front wheel! cost is more like the price of a base model luxury car....each turbine is anywhere from 4 to 8k easily.....he probably spent closer to 40 or 50k

Heck, I'm also wondering if this thing requires insurance to fly? Could you imagine a 140KG (308.65 lbs) plane, capable of flying at least 300+ KPH (186.5 MPH), shaped like a Dart, hitting someone if it got out of control!!! That would be a catastrophic day for the victim and their family.
