The markups are real but I totally understand since they're retro, imports, AND the displays are _sooo cute_ that buying them away would almost feel like a crime! 😭🦄💖💕

I totally agree!!! Plus most thrift stores in Japan only sell stuff that is near-pristine quality, or still in original packaging, which increases value a lot as well.

They tried to re-release Polly Pocket like the original ones recently, but they're sooo bad lol they really totally messed it up, somehow. I'd recommend Shopkins "lil secrets" toys with their little compact worlds they've made recently, they're more similar to original Polly feel.

Princess Peachie I know they were awful sorry but small it’s better I remember Lucy pocket my god a huge copyright product but it wasn’t Polly I saw some get it but other girls Disney like me 😅 I prefer my small ones I got them from my parents so many memories ohh especially Disney made ones, I miss them too!! 🌸👏🏻🙁

@@ForestKitty1000 Omg Jewels has this amazing, HUGE Lucy Locket pink hear necklace. I couldn't believe how much of a ripoff it sounded and looked like, but we love it all the same XD it's amazing. And yes the Disney Polly Pockets are awesome, I have a few.

I wished they d rerelease all the toys from my childhood! I think a lot of people would buy the original polly pockets and ponies. Did you get the new anniversary ponies?

Yes, you ask a store clerk :) If you are planning to got there and can't speak japanese, don't worry- you can just say "soo-mee-mah-sehn" (sumimasen/excuse me) and then gesture to the specific item you want.
