They were all built to a budget! Derby is the same design as Middlesbrough, Stoke and Leicester. Derby had the corners filled in straight away and there’s room for another tier on the East and North Stands but realistically they’d not fill it regularly at present. It is however more difficult to get tickets compared to 10 years ago.

"Never fill it" is a bit of an understatement. When we came down to watch Wednesday play there, it was dead. 7000 MK fans at the most

Hillsbough is super almost 40K fans record is almost 73k fans Sheff Wed v Man city in 1934/35 season

I remember when all semi finals of the cup were at Hillsborough , the kop was an open end . Beautiful stadium, first cantilever stand in the uk I believe. I’ve been there with 57, 500 in attendance.

Dons slander about not being able to fill our ground, classic. Only clubs that have higher attendances than us are either 200 years old or have some kind of premier league heritage. Funny how you never see slander about Shrewsbury, Accrington, Burton, Fleetwood, Cheltenham, Morecambe all of which fail to fill their stadiums that are all less than 10,000 capacity

I was in the Baseball Ground for the Spurs game in the early ‘70’s. Crushes outside to get in, police horses in attendance, 42,500 ish officially in the ground that afternoon, but they used to open the gates after 20 mins so could have been well over 44. When the safe limit was enforced it was 19,000.
