This challenge looked brutal. Sad the restaurant didn't take into consideration thousands of people would be watching and saying to themselves "I would never eat there the meat is dry as leather" The restaurant did self sabotage.

The energy was different here. It didn’t seem like their food was all that scrumptious. Facial expressions too. I got the ‘welp we’re already recording now , so let’s just get through this’ vibe. Regardless, love your vids, good job.

@@tonycarpaccio9550 I actually eat well done steaks. I guess it depend on what place you go to, or who cooks it, because I never had issues with dryness or it being tough. I've also tried them medium rare, were it's still pink in the middle & it just wasn't for me.

@@yogizorch A well done steak just means the internal temperature is 155-165 degrees. It doesn't mean the outside has to look like burnt charcoal.

That’s probably because Joel has Medium Rare, and Raina has Well done. The longer it’s on the grill, it shrinks more

@@cheyennesmith4347 you can just tell from the actual steak. Raina’s one has no redness in the mean, so it’s well done, VS Joel’s, you can see his meat is pretty pink.

They really ought to give you a tender cut of steak especially if this is advertisement for them! Medium rare rib steak would be my preference. Sister is a smart gal. Tartar just to change up the taste is a wise decision. They sure as heck take forever to bring Raina that sauce! You both are champs!

The biggest steak I had was a 16 ounce sirloin at Cheddar's in Bedford, Texas New Year's Eve, 1999. With it, I had chips and spinach dip as an appetizer, salad, baked potato, and apple pie a la mode for dessert. I barely finished it all. I had forgotten I wasn't in my teens or 20s anymore. But we changed over to Y2K without incident. 😊
