Damnation! Katie Boulter has emerged! Haddad, Vekic, Navarro, Kostyuk is quite an impressive list of victims, especially the latter three, who have been playing superior tennis, and Navarro and Kostyuk budding serious stars. Boulter looked like a top 10 player in these matches, not only via her baseline power but in her wise decisionmaking with her strategic dropshots. I don't remember her moving this well either. She has found consistency in her game at age 27 and could remain a force for a while now. Well-deserved trophy and dominating tennis! Congrats, Katie!!!

Well done Katie. A perfect week of hard hitting tennis. It is tough to win WTA Titles but now its on to consistency on The Tour for Katie. I believe she doesn't have a lot of ranking points to defend over the next few months so picking up some wins is vital. It is just nice to see her playing with a smile and injury free. Look forward to watching her for the rest of the season. Top 20 is on the cards for sure.
