'Resignation' is her story. She wrote the song herself, wrote the lyrics, and even sang it. It's probably more emotional because she's singing her own story.

@@user-td7wp4dj2k 우리나라 노래방의 시초가 일본인 것도 맞고, 서양에서 보통 '돈 내고 노래를 하는 장소'가 Karaoke라는 단어로 통용되는 것도 맞는데 그걸 굳이굳이 서양인들이 뭔지도 모르는 Noraebang이라고 정정하는 어글리 코리안 짓을 해야만 하겠음? 그리고 지적 자체도 틀린 게, 우리나라식 노래방의 원조가 카라오케거든ㅋㅋ 카라오케는 룸살롱이라고? 우리나라 노래방 중에도 사실상 성인주점 같은 노래방이 여럿 있고, 반대로 지금 일본에도 코인노래방(걔네 말로는 토큰이라고 하지만)이 보편화 됨. 님이 하는 짓 자체가 베이징식 파오차이랑 한국 김치는 다르니까 파오차이라고 정정하는 거랑 같은 거임 ㅇㅋ?

@방카 정말 역겹네요. 노래방이라고 알려주는게 그렇게 극뽕찾고 시비걸일입니까? 노래방이란 단어를 없애야 속이시원하겠죠? 엄청 불편하죠? 그게바로 중공화교조선족 dna라 그런거에요. 아무리 중공조선족 티를 안내려고 노력해도 악질일뽕친일파 중공화교조선족dna 꼬랑내가 진동을하네요.. 이러니 중공화교조선족이 사람취급을 못받는거에요. 중공으로 돌아가세요. 아니면 후진국으로ㅜ전락한 졸본으로가서 난쟁이들 노예로사시던가요.

The song that Yeonghyeon Lee sang alone is seriously the most famous song for the girls, in karaoke. Lol They disbanded on 2012 and then came back with new song, in 9yrs. The individuals are now working as a professors in different universities. So there's funny subtitle called "the very best Group Project, for vocal students, that they want" 🤣🤣

이영현씨가 부른 체념(resignation)은 멜로디도 좋지만 그 가사 내용을 저 이영현씨가 과거에 경험했던 사실을 노래로 만든거라서... 가사에 의미를 두고 노래방에서 많이 부르는 여성 노래죠....사실 노래방에서 저렇게 노래를 따라 할 수 있는 사람은 많지 않은데, 그 노래의 감정 때문에 부르고 싶어서 많이 부르는 듯 합니다 :) 재밌는 리액션 영상 감사합니다.

Fun fact: BIGMAMA are musical professors in different universities in South Korea, so that gives them the credibility that they really know what they are doing. The members are from left to right: Prof. Shin Yeonah, Prof. Lee Jiyoung, Prof. Lee Younghyun, Prof. Park Minhye. Shin Yeonah teaches at Howon University (she also studied jazz music in France) Lee Jiyoung taught at Seoul Arts College Lee Younghyun taught at Hanyang University Park Minhye was a dean of the vocal dept at Seoul National University of Arts

Korean culture has some kind of courtesy, manner or respect for elder people even a year. Also there are suitable appellations about elder and younger person for man and woman. So saying youngest is not strange when introducing.

11:43 "Resignation 2009" This song is more likely to focus on the song if you understand the lyrics. Resignation is the song that is most often sung as a favorite Korean karaoke song. I strongly recommend listening to it again while looking at the lyrics.

The best Bigmama reaction video ever! The vocal tips, subtitles, and reactions are 10 out of 10! Happy to know your channel. FYI, Lee Young-hyun's solo song, Take it, is one of the challenging high note songs to Korean girls lol I think most Korean girls try that at a karaoke once! Bigmama is back this year in 8 years and they've shocked the K-pop world again!

So the singer who sang the last solo is known to be one of the powervocal singer in Korea for years, and this is one of the songs womens will challenge to sing it in the Karaoke, and even male singers will challenge to sing it in Female key. And also this vocal group "Big Mama" was and always is one of the best ever in Korea.

Hi Liza. It is first time to catch your reaction, I guess this probably was your first K-pop reaction? Anyway, I really enjoyed your reaction and description. Big Mama is a girl group who got huge fame only by their vocal abilities in Korea while the others all focused on choreos and raps at the time. They all have main vocalist quality in a group, but Lee Young Hyun, 3rd one from the left, is normally enlisted in Korea's top female vocalist. For her solo song "체념", you can find so many clips here, not to mention it is one of the favorite Karaoke songs in Korea. You can also find Morissette's cover version of "Resignation(체념)" I wish you can react more of Korean vocalists.

11:43 that song is covered by an artist you've reacted to before, it was covered by Asia's Phoenix Morisette Amon. She sang/covered it Asia Song Festival 2018 in South Korea. Mori surprised everyone by singing it in English then switching it up to Korean at the climax of the song. She has also redone her cover on her KZfaq channel by singing it in English, Filipino, Korean.

I love their talent, I'm in love with each of their vocals. Not understanding the language but, when you feel you just want to protect them (betrayal) the song is translating. I often prefer listening without subs, simply because the feeling the song translation is the feeling that the song vibes for me
