This has been a project of mine for a while. I have been wanting to install a Jet/ Turbine engine in a car for a long time that drives the wheels instead of being "thrust" driven. Having it driven by the wheels allows me to safely drive it without burning the vehicles behind me. This video shows the first start-up attempt and the successful second attempt. This engine will run on any type of fuel, but 1 have decided to run it on the proper jet-A fuel so that the fuel system does not get clogged or gummed up. Fuel consumption is about 10 gallons per hour @ idle and about 43 gallons per hour @ full power. 1 will do another video while driving this car to a local car event in the future. Even though this is not a horn,siren, or diaphone. I think it qualifies as a noise maker . At idle (15,000rpm) it pumps out close to 130dB!!!
