I never liked listening to metal until Dan! Back in my schooldays I had friends who listened to metal and I was indifferent to it. Fast forward to Dan’s Amazing Grace, I’ll Make a Man Out of You, Burn Butcher Burn and I’m an addict to the grit, growls and screams! Dan has one of the most distinctive voice on KZfaq. You are correct he is a Brazilian singer who covers all genres of music from opera to heavy metal. His latest offering is a cover of the Iron Maiden song “The Number Of The Beast” which is just awesome. To be honest you could choose any of his performances as they are all top notch. I recommend his covers "Burn Butcher Burn", his cover of "Heaven is a Place on Earth," his unique METAL rendition of Lady Gaga's "Poker Face," and his intense METAL cover of Manowar's "Black Wind, Fire, and Steel." I love your reaction! I’m new to his channel as well, since being blown away by Amazing Grace about six weeks ago. All the Witcher stuff is great, especially Burn Butcher Burn. I’m a voice junkie from way back, and with the possible exception of Freddie Mercury, he’s the best non-classical vocalist I’ve ever heard. Gorgeous voice in multiple registers, fantastic breath control, can sing both sensitively and with power, and has tons of theatrics when called for and authentic deep emotion when appropriate. And he does have classical training. He even does a very respectable Nessun Dorma (opera aria). Also folk, show tunes, movie music (Mulan), of course lots of metal covers, and metal versions of non-metal songs, e. g., Adele’s Rolling in the Deep. (He doesn’t shy away from covering female singers because he can sing in that range.) Enjoy the journey 😊. More Dan, please.

Nice reaction! This is the second Dan song I ever heard. The first was The Sound of Silence on 9/15/20, and I wanted to see if it was truly the singer I loved and not just the song. Three years later, I can safely say that it's definitely the singer! He made me like songs that were meh at best by the original artist (Smooth Criminal), made songs I already loved way better (all his Journey covers), and introduced me to tons of great new(to me) artists that I now love (DragonForce, Sabaton, Blind Guardian, Nightwish, Avantasia, Angra, Shaman). Everything on his channel is so good, and no matter how many times you listen to it, you always find something new in it to appreciate. Keep the Dan reactions coming!

Dan is a master at his craft. Id love to see a reaction to his cover of "northwest passage" originally a folk song he metalized as a tribute to his uncle, i havent seen any reactions to that song. But youll be hard pressed to find a bad song of his, youd have to go to some of his very first songs and theyre still good just not comparative to his voice now

Actually, he doesn't have a LOT more Witcher songs (as yet, anyway). I'm thinking you will LOVE "Burn Butcher Burn," and "Song of the White Wolf," though, and there are definitely a TON of other wonderful songs in Dan's 243 videos (the ones that are on his channel...there are other collaborations out there, as well). One of my favorites is "Son of Pain." I'll be watching for other Dan Reactions. Thanks for this one. 😀

The Witcher season one was great, after that it was all down hill. Great reaction to Dan, and all his work is great. His passion is metal. However, it covers every genre, i.e. H. Rock, pop with metal, opera wow, wow and again wow and everything in between. My recommendation... "The Music of the Night" - Phantom of the Opera cover or "Time To Say Goodbye" - Andrea Bocelli & Sarah Brightman cover or Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen covers... World class.
