I swear by Monsoon. Most of my wardrobe is this brand. Their clothes wash and wear beautifully as they are quality. I just turn them inside out and wash them on a quick wash. The black floral dress and the jersey red frilled sleeve dress both looked stunning on you. The red maxi is also a winner. Monsoon do some clothes that are unique. You just get used to the brand and know what shapes and sizes are right for you. I like what they call kaftan dresses which are not kaftans at all but are usually a little less fitted across the tummy and more flattering and flowing. Some of their jersey dresses are incredibly and I have several I wear to work and I look for them with a pleat in the front as they are so flattering. The long and 3/4 sleeve versions i wear in all seasons except very hot days. Their dresses last for years. Please don't give up on this brand. Wendy

Hi Jodie What a fantastic Haul today. It was me who mentioned Monsoon. I just love this brand but at full price it’s expensive You are spoilt for choice with this haul. I like a column dress. I have a linen one fromMarks and I love it.. The red one is gorgeous. The black and lemon dress screams class. Looks beautiful on you . The zig zag dress is beautiful and wouldn’t mind that myself tbh. Monsoon has always been on the generous size. That would look nice paired with cream trousers. It’s a pity you didn’t order the green dress in a smaller size as the colour suits you brilliantly. You fid your best fair play Well we will see you in the next one. Take care xx

Jodie thank you for showing us Monsoon. If you want my honest opinion the nicest dress in the haul was the Lemon Tree dress, you looked so classy in it. Please have a look at Roman, they have lovely pieces, everything comes on hangers and sizing is very good. I am a 20 top and 22 bum, however I bought some knee length shorts from them in a size 20 and they fit perfectly. The material holds you in too and they do not ride up and come to the bend of the knee. They are so smart. I also have a couple of boho blouses/tops. I would say their stuff is M & S quality at a cheaper price. Stay well, much love xxx

Jodie loved the red dress and a bonus of different ways to wear it definitely a keeper, only items that weren't quite right for you were the highness printed dress and the green top although a lovely colour green. The only thing with Monsoon store is that in recent years, they have stopped stocking L & Xl in store which is frustrating. Fortunately, I’ve been wearing Monsoon for a couple of decades do i know what looks good on me. Back in the day, i used to go Monsoon store in Brighton Laines during my lunch break. The staff in there knew me well and would point out new items that came in that they knew I’d like. I’d return back to the office with a couple of tops or a dress in my paper branded monsoon bag. My colleagues would laugh. 😂 They then closed that store and moved to the shopping centre and stopped stocking the larger sizes.

I wear size L to XL in Monsoon. I’m a size 22 I’ve been wearing Monsoon clothing for 20 years. The quality, fabric and styles just last forever. I have clothes i’ve worn to work 15 years ago and still wear today, still looking good.

If you wear a slip under the satin dress, it helps the fabric ‘slip’ over your skin instead of clinging. Give it a try!

I taught the green and yellow flawerl dress did look good on you, give it another try on and work with thoes side bits that are like swag and it would be a good one to hide the tummy, now please do not take offense at I saying that or that I would recomend a bit of shape ware under the dresses or one like a long vest or slip kind also will help stop the clinging too, and if you go for it re try the navy and lilac on again, It really did look good on you everywhere else, the one you gave 👍to also retry it back to front as it seems like a 2piece affect and try the sleeves part over your sholders a wee bit. Now I am most likely twice your age and i did think some other stuff made you look very much older, just my taughts like you asked and I am not meaning any malicious words here. Seems like alot of their clothes are a bit fussy but nice. The red, lemon tree dress, gray tube dress and red decorated dress looked great on you. Too bad the green organza top didn't work, the color worked well with your skin.
