Travis Headley was headed to the 2016 Super Rigs truck show to park. On this short trip he shares info on his truck called Gold Digger. It's a 1987 Peterbilt 359 / Caterpillar 3406B / 425hp /15 OD hooked to a cattle pot.

Gorgeous truck!!! I'm partial to 379's myself, but I'm just an old retired/disabled lady chicken hauler!! I sure do miss the old days out on the road!! Thanks for all y'all do (hubby still out there haulin that produce)!! I gotta say bein a trucker's wife is way harder than bein a driver😁. Y'all keep the shiny side up and God bless and they called me "Nightdreamer"!!!

Ironically it's now a day later after watching this video and I'm parked here at the Love's in Siloam springs, Oklahoma and look what rolls in??? This very same gold 359! Small world sometimes. Just as awesome in person! 👍👍👍👍👍

I think the name Pot of Gold would be more fitting. Another amazing looking truck. Always jealous of the bull racks. Growing up on a dairy farm and loving trucks I always thought that's what I was supposed to end up in but I was dealt different cards.

🤔 Hmmm? I have not made the video of it yet! First truck I bought is a '79 KW W900. It was a glider kit built up into a winch tractor (with very nice full coverage sculpted diamond plate steel fenders, 60K Tulsa) for heavy haul in its early years, rural county maintenance midlife crisis and now is retired to the farm. I use it to move dozers, excavators, tractors etc. around. Still don't drive it enough to be proficient with the 5&4 setup, but it gets the job done! It has had a hard life.

Can't hardly beat a "nickel 9" Got a 379 2004 x & pull a " bovine limousine" Still my favorite is dads old 81 "nickel 9" long hood with a 3408 & and 2 stick ( 5&4) . Not so GOOD on fuel but back then it was $ 1.00 a gallon so it didn't really matter .

Travis I tried to buy that Truck before Mickey got it he put alot of money into it because it sat for 10 years without being started, the seals were all shot. I started in a 76 IH 4300 at 16 years old was my first Truck .

It was talked about before this day but i was on a tight scheduled run and had to haul butt, plus Chris is a busy man during truck shows but Chris and Travis were nice enough to let me tag along for alittle. i no longer have the LoneStar so wont be any future CB interviews with that truck lol
