It's quite calming to watch, like gazing into a fire or some other natural, ever-changing phenomenon. It makes you realise how powerful the ocean is. The sheer weight and magnitude of it. The word 'awe' really applies to the sea. Godspeed my friend.

@@Bigwavemaster1 Ha ha. Seriously my friend, I was an International Airline Captain. I have seen my share of rough, terrifying weather in my day. I am 76 now, and I very much enjoy your videos. The sea is very different than the air. Keep up the great work. One suggestion; I would enjoy seeing other parts of the ship, and know where in the world these videos were shot. Pan around more? Take care.

Looking out the porthole and seeing that never ending powerful sea really expresses the insignificance of humans in comparison to the sea. We are but a tiny blip and the sea is in absolute control. The fine sailors on the ERRV are fine seamen and do a difficult job to it’s highest level. Their office is that seemingly never ending sea and they welcome it’s challenge. “A smooth sea never made a good sailor”

I wonder what’s not to like about this video? Storms and tides remind me that there are parts of nature that cannot be controlled and while humanity can live with it and has done so successfully centuries, we will never truly be master of all we survey.
