Jack Hughes 2018 IIHF U18 Highlights

Highlights include Hughes' goals, assists, shots and passing plays during the 2018 IIHF U18 Championship in Russia. Hughes and Team USA won the silver medal. Look out for #6.
Hughes was named to the U18 All Star Team, named the U18 Best Forward, and Tournament MVP. He led scoring with 12 points (5 goals, 7 assists).
Hughes is 2019 NHL Draft eligible.

New subscriber. Absolutely love how you showcase players. None of this same highlight goal over and over. You show every area of the game, takeaways, passes, skills, speed. These are true highlight videos. Only seeing a guys goals and assists don’t actually tell you much about the players game. Thank you for these, definitely subscribing!

Sam Eddy you’re dumb to be sure about that. Yes there’s a lot of chances Ottawa will have a terrible season but they can be 25-30th in the league and have less chances to win 1st pick. Even if they finish last it doesn’t mean they will get 1st pick because of the lottery. I remember when everybody said ‘McDavid will look great in Buffalo, welcome to buffulo kid’ lmao and Edmonton got 1st and buffalo 2nd.

He has hands like Kane with the skating style of Gaudreau. Not bad! haha But overall even if he’s more talented, he really reminds me of Gaudreau way more than Kane.

These announcers are going overboard with their hughes love affair. Every single time hes even NEAR the puck, the announcers call his every single movement "BRILLIANT". "Look at that!!! Hughes farted in the corner... must smell brilliant bob..... "

Noah Stone D1 Sure you did bud. Jack Hughes is on the level of a Matthews/McDavid at his age. He's that good. Keep in mind the USA U18s play NCAA and junior teams. they are playing an average age of 20 years old whereas most of the U18s are 16-17.

yes USNDP program the only this is he is ONLY 16 playing U18 and dominating the entire ushl

Jay Ferguson and USA U18s play NCAA teams as well. He gets to play against players that could be 5-7 years older than him. Pretty insane.

Jack has to bounce back he is way to good to not too, he was just way too tired to hit the NHL 243 games since 2017-2018 season is too much. They should have given him a few months to a year to rest

Hughes reminds me of Mikael Granlund before he came to NHL. Of course Hughes is higher level prospect than Granlund was but still

you probably haven't seen Drouin play. Hughes and him are very similar. Hughes has a better potential I would say.

Yeah dude. I think he might have franchise defining potential but it's tough to say. I think Quinn is the better skater. Quinn is odd though, like he just plays like a forward in a way, but he's a dman. Like you don't ever see a dman that shifty ever.

Dahlin is 10x better than Hughes. Plus we just signed Pilut today, who won defenesmen of the year in thr SHL and can be a starter next year. I also believe that Botteril will be very aggresssive in trades and free agency
