Song "Kad bi bio bijelo dugme" - it is the song that changes the name of a band, before that song the band called "Jutro" (the morning). It is almost pure instrumental song, but you have to hear how good it is, it has so strong guitar parts and it is the most influential song that represents the whole 70' generation in former Yugoslavia. "Bijelo dugme" is a revolutionary band in former Yugoslavia because it opened rock to the pure and worker class, before that it was only the music of highly educared and welth people. So Dugme through its music and texts brought roxk to everyone from 7 to 77 years old, literaly they had the biggest impact on the music scene for decades...

1. Croatian/Bosnian/Serbian are linguistically same languages with 100% mutual intelligibility. Back in Yugoslavia dominant official language was called Serbo-Croatian. 2. Bijelo Dugme is pronounced BEE--Y-A- LO DOOH-GH-MEH. In our languag(es) whenever you see the letter J, it is always pronounced as Y. 3. Love you reviews and glad you are enjoying our legendary music. Brings me back to my childhood 🤟

Robk just to help you pronounced that.. Bijelo dugme... in our language letter "i" is pronounced like letter "e" in english and letter "j" like a letter "y" ( example the word "year" ) , the letter "g" is like you say Grand :-) love your videos, amazing job my friend :-)

Holy shit! I can’t believe that I’ve never heard this tune, from Bijelo dugme. I thought I knew them all. Amazing stuff! @Robk Reacts Regarding language question… It is all, one and the same language. Meaning: Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian and Hecegovian, Montenegrian. Slovenian and Macedonian are little bit different, but understandable, at the end too. It’s just that nacionalist, sick fucks, had to call it different languages. And now, you can often hear them, how those are separate, different languages, while understanding each other perfectly and debating in same language. It’s sczhizofreny insanity! :)

I am 1980 and in my time you divide between two groups Bijelo Dugme or Riblja Čorba Bijelo Dugme I was listen when come to village and Corbu when am in city and always was that Bijelo Dugme is village rock and Riblja Corba urban city talk about different issue's but I love both much girls fall on Dugme much more on Corba!😎

I will try to do a more accurate and slightly better translation than the one in the video, I assume that google translator was used, so the meaning of the song has changed a lot and when I read it, it sounds a lot different. @RobkReacts If you want to hear really good music of the 80s in Yugoslavia, with which many people grew up and are still active, listen to the band Šarlo Akrobata - "Oko moje glave", "Niko kao ja" or "Pečati". It's a true 80's urban rockandroller. The band Bijelo Dugme was a group for people from the countryside, they were not really liked by people from cities.

Listen to Atomsko Sklonište, SMAK, Partibrejkers, Yu Grupa, Indexi, ITD Band, Divlje Jagode, Vatreni Poljubac, Josipa Lisac from that time, pogotovo album called Dnevnik jedne ljubavi witch is masterpice.....Drago Mlinarec and group 220, Parni Valjak, Time whit Dado Topic, Generacija 5 whit Zlatko Peakovic he have voice same as Ian Gilian from Deep Purple....Bijelo Dugme is only good whit Željko Bebek wich you just listen, after Željko Bebk era is bullshit, also listen to Azra ( Johnny Štulic )....in my opinion Atomsko skloniše, group 220, Inedxi, SMAK, Partibrejkers and Josipa Lisac are the best what former Jugoslavia was offer to music....sry, my apologies, forgat Robilja Corba iand best textwriter from this part of world Bora Corba

@@GolubDamiroff rock je i baziran na tri akorda, 95% rocka su tri akorda...tošto se nađe tu i tamo koja stvar koja je složenija ne mjenja činjenicu da je rock jednostavna muzika
