Wow Ari, that’s a cool build. With Yoshi usually associated with Suzuki it’s easy to miss that they’re great with all makes. Totally rad paint scheme too! A cool addition would be the wheels painted blue on the right and orange/yellow on the left.

That beautiful paint job should be displayed at the Museum of Modern Art.

1:17 this right to left transition is so damn cool to watch. but what's really incredible is a 100hp bike that only weighs 360 lbs. now that is something i would pay money for.

The Aprilia starts with the same power as you ended up with, so as a race package a better starting point for a race or track bike and allot cheaper.

Of honda R&D Milwaukee in 1974 as he was totally in charge of the launch of the new two stroke named after the city of elsinore cal featured in the movie on any sunday staring steve McQueen mert lawwell , and Malcom smith but it was yoshimura could tell you want you had for breakfast by reading the color of your spark plug

I love this company have a full Yoshi exhaust and fender eliminator on my Cbr1000 rr great sound exhaust as always and looks way cool which is half the battle.

Okay....now build me one for the street!!!! I'll also take the orange and yellow livery on the whole bike please!! 🤣

What a nice bike it is and right up there with the RS660 now. Nearly double the bhp and lightened overall weight too. I would love to see what it's like around my track. Swing arm looks spindly though!

Very cool! I know that the bike is still pretty new and you guys don't have a lot of long term testing with it yet, but can you comment on how all those power upgrades will likely affect the engine's longevity? Do you think it would last a season or two, or would it require more frequent rebuilds?

i dont know what to think about this. i remember when twins cup was 5 sponsorless sv650s at laguna. though priveteers swaping ducati weels onto everything. but i think now its kind of defeated its origional porpose, its still possible but the barrier to entry has moved up.

nice bike, awesome color, is there a reason for the right fork to have the comp cartridge fitted? that is backwards according to the manual (right rebound rule)

Seems like this is how Yamaha should have built the motor to begin with, obviously not using some of the higher end rods or pistons necessary for serious race durability. 68 HP from the CP2 is too low stock and should have been at least 80 HP to compete with the CBR650R and RS 660. I'm sure this Yoshimura bike is insane fun on the track and is probably the first R7 (since the original) that I would want to ride or own.

That motor is what Yamaha should sell to the consumers. 100 horsepower would put it right next to the Aprilia RS660.
