Bike Build - Cinelli Mash Histogram 2013

It's new fixed gear bike day today and I’m building up this sweeet 2013 Cinelli Mash Histogram! Suzue promax carbon hubs, sugino 75 direct drive cranks, all black components with a few touches of anodised blue. Box14 sent me out this special custom anodised Boxbeugel V2 chainring which finished off the build perfectly. Massive shout out to Box14 for the support and to all you guys for watching! Thomson components. The best ❤ FYI the 250mm long Thomson seat posts have the writing from the top where it meets the clamp, I have one on my 61cm Bianchi Super Pista.

No waaay! I never knew that, thanks for the info, that’s actually so handy to know. I have some early model Thomson posts and one has the writing the other way around and some slightly off centre, so I just assumed models with the writing higher up were from different years haha

Thankyou! good question, most of the bikes I build for myself, occasionally for a friend, a local rider or someone that asks me to build them one. If I’m riding the bike in the end clip it’s for me. If someone else is riding, it’s for them!(usually)

Toe strap bolts - first I used grease on them but at some point replaced by a bit of blue Loctite.

Ahh not really, I do quite like the wax ones though, I’ve used the white lighting, rock n roll and finish line stuff and quite like them. (anything that isn’t super sticky and doesn’t gunk up)

This bike was really easy to assemble kzfaq.infoUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
