Thats very interesting. I initially thought the 2019 model had the ability for internal routing, however every port came out through the bottom and not through the drivetrain. If i had to think maybe check for a KS or maybe a PNW Ridge. Just make sure to check you got the right diameter or if it comes with a switch

Not sure what model is yours Mate, but mine comes out underneath and no access unless I drill at the seat tube. 30.9 is the usual diameter for dropper and I can recommend Brand X2, very good that will not break the bank 👍

@@mjojrjr6231 it’s all mainly tucked away inside the frame. Fitment is tight but it would work.

The biggest impact is that its lighter then the coil fork and more customizable. I’ve been able to set it my liking and weight depending on what kinda riding I plan to do. Its helped, but didn’t have a big an impact as say the dropper or upgrading the drivetrain. At least for me.

Yup, got the straight steerer. The 2019 wasn’t a tapered fork. I have had people told me you can buy an adapter for a tapered fork before, if that helps.

It’s up to where you want to start in my opinion. I started with the drivetrain, but its up to you at the end if the day.

If i remember correctly it was a Box 3 Prime 9 groupset. You can definitely do it yourself if your comfortable. Box has a how to install video on you tube. I recommend viewing it first and decide from there.

It would be ok if it was mostly gravel or unpaved trails. But for long rides in city streets i would recommend a city bike instead. You would find slicker tire bikes alot easier over all for rides through the city. From experience, bikes with knobby tires will be harder to pick up speed and more tiring. Short answer: I wouldn’t recommend

About $250 for the Rockshox Recon 27.5

I used a normal 32t chainring, you made need spacers for a 34. But it comes with spacers, so you’ll be fine 👍

@@RomansDowntime just to confirm Mate, it fit... I put one spacer at the drive side as per specs and place the chain ring at the inner side of the crank. Still plenty of space. 👍

@@privi889 Honestly, I haven’t put much thought into it. I am roughly where I want to be at with this bike. I haven’t had an issue with the stock wheels and was still able to bring the weight of the bike to 28 lbs. before the addition of the dropper. Sorry, i can’t be much help

@@RomansDowntime no worries. Have changed mine to 1 -11 sram nx which was a phenomenal improve. Also changed to suntour seat post with shock absorb. Next up is manitou markhor fork. Wheels will come up in the future, before that it will be xc tires and go tubeless. Bought the bike on sale last year, very happy with it.

@@privi889 Sounds like you got a pretty sweet build going on. I was also thinking about going with the Manitou Markhor fork, and ultimately went with the rockshx cause it was actually available. I was holding off switching to XC tires for an actual xc race, but plans fell through. I sill have the tires though. I'm extremely happy I went with this bike and the upgrades I have done since.
