How can this increase the travel. It only modified the shock length. The travel will increase only of you change the springs.

Yes, the suspension cylinder is same so u can't add the fluid and long spring....so for traveling you need to change the full system suspension and maybe u also need to put 21 inch wheel for comfort and stability...

i think you just increase the height of the front shock & also the ground clearance, not increase the travel itself.. Travel is measured from SAG to the limit of the front tube, you could notice it with the marks from the front bottom or you could put a cable ties and see how much your front tube could travel. I'm done it with adding some bushing to push the spring therefore it could increase SAG and also increase the travel. you could also increase the travel by adding busing inside the inner bottom. There are a parts looks like a flute and by adding length of it you are increase the travel at the same time. Note : if you done this you need to add your front shock oil to avoid empty gap created by the busing.

exactly. and also what he has done is risking the fork cap threads to break. because they will be experiencing lateral forces (which it's not supposed to being really fine threads).

@@searchingpeace4497 sorry mate, just recently notice your reply.. what i do on my bike is only correcting the SAG, by adding steel bushing to press the spring inside.. however if you want to increase furthermore there is vavle tube inside the front shock, and you can weld it to add more length but i suggest not more than 5cm, because it will cause your front shock unstable.. and you need to add more shock oil since there will be additional space inside the shock..

hii wht abt the changes in the rear suspension you have forgot to do the changes in the rear suspension although you rear suspension gap between the tyre and hugger is now less i mean it can hit rear part of the bike when you put the bike in pot hole do something for that also

As my height is 5.75 ft and i had pulsar ns 160 if i increase height so ground clearance will be nearly 200 mm so it is possible to me ride this height comfortably and my weight is 79. Plz reply And can i also able to increase height for mono suspension using same way

naa.. travel exactly barche naa... but, shocker length barche... ground clearance taa besh bare.... + long distance e ride ta ro comfortable... Handling reduce to korbei... less aggresive setup jehetu...

This will increase the height not the travel.. but it will hamper the suspension work coz whenever we increase the height of Front suspension then their will be drastic change in caster angle which result in more rigidity which result in misalignment of tire and loss of traction......Instead of increasing height ,increase the travel of the suspension so that will support you to absorb more potholes with zero vibration or wobbling at front end... What about the rear suspension???

rear suspension is adjusted to max height... yes.. dats why 1inch max.. so that lateral displacement is reduced

had it been extreme offroading.. its never suggested with these bikes in the first place... definitely chances of lateral displacement of forks increase... dats why rising has been limited to 1 inch... but the benefit of high groud clearance is way more rewarding...

But, you need to change to some soft springs to let the forks go more inside, pulsar ns200 have stiff front springs which aren't good for offroad purpose. Your modification has only increased the gap between the mudguard & registration plate, but not changed the stiffness of the spring. I think you have to try some other model's soft springs.

@@OneLivingLife The travel remains same as the you have the stock springs. That means the suspension will travel the same distance as before because the spring would compress the same. I guess you got the definition of suspension travel wrong. Though your mod does a good job of increasing the ground clearance but to increase the travel you need softer springs along with this mod.

This does not change travel, ar the suspension setup is as it is..The only thing it will do is it will raise (not rise) your bike's ground clearance..

with a block of 1 - 1.5 inch... if u r not an extremely serious / professional offroader using it on dirt bike tracks... no... there are rare chances of lateral displacement / breakdown
