I watched your DIY spray can videos, bought Montana Gold blue & purple, bought the DuPont mask, bought 800 grit sandpaper, the primer and clear coat. I found a sandblaster for $75 in Oakland, California. Mr Martin, what about showing us what tools are needed and how to disassemble & assemble a bicycle? I'm quoted $300 to do that by bicycle shops here and that's a lot of money.

i think 300 is too much to charge for a disassembly job to be honest, it should be only 100-150 dollars due to the time and skill it requires, as well as the tools required. at the minimum, you should have a complete set of allen wrenches, hexagon keys, a few varying sizes of screwdrivers along with philip screws, and some levers and most commonly, lube. it's usually dependent on which brand the component is from, but what i just mentioned is the common. hope this helped!

@@paliaha706 oh yes, you do need a bottom bracket wrench if you want to remove it! there are some alternatives, like big sized monkey wrenches, but you're better off if you have the proper tools for it 😁

Hey Martin, just wondering whether you find the waterbased basecoat to have better adhesion than solvent? I'm having some trouble with my solvent base not always adhering when airbrushing small logos

@@jomei36 Take your bike to an automotive paint supply shop. They should be able to match the color and make a small touch-up bottle of paint for you. I would also suggest to purchase a glass fiber 'sanding pen' from the same shop which allows you to clean and smooth the chipped areas before painting.
