Biking the Arkansas River Trail

Hey all! so we took break from our road trip in the van to do some cycling in little Rock. the self proclaimed cycling capital of the world! it was actually a great trail with some awesome pedestrian only bridges and views of some cliffs. hope you like the video!

I really like seeing Tunnels, Cool'er on a Bike Path, and Tunnel Bridges, noticed others on some of your past Videos, COOL Travels Man.

Ive been here in North little rock 17years and have never seen the trail before like u have shown, but I dont bike lol.. U went through burns park and big dam bridge which isnt very old but yes it WAS built specifically for bicyclists and pedestrians 😁..and the library u passed was the President Clinton library😉..happy trails and thanks for sharing ✌️

Great video. As a Arkansas resident I have never heard anyone from LR calling us the self proclaimed cycling capital of the world. Now the northwest Arkansas people claim to be the mountain biking capital of the world.

Surprisingly the county and the federal gov did spend the money to build the bridge over that lock and damn. It opened on 9/30/2006. If you really wanna see more cycling in Arkansas you should come back and ride the big damn bridge 100 bike ride in September.

The shot at 4:40, if you had gone further left up that gravel bit there's a real nice paved pump track for bikes etc. There are also a few small trails around to get up on top for some wonderful views. If you're ever back around, now you know. The siren at 6:09 is our weekly tornado siren test. Unless it's storming they go at noon every Wednesday , to make sure they're all fully operational
