He was 5/10 from the FT line in his first 3 games. He made 8/9 tonight. He now had 9 blocks in 4 games. We will have Poole Party and Block Party next season with him and Gafford. This season will be fun. He just needs to work on his strength and ball handling. That's two things he can develop through time.

tbh those two are the “easiest” for him to get better at in the NBA so i’m excited

The wizards hit the jackpot with Bilal. Trust... he's gonna be very good, just will need 2-3 years of development

If he was on a team with better player development history then I’d have more trust. But since the Wiz have new people leading them and are clearly going the rebuilding route, hopefully Bilal will turn out different.

Struggled handing the ball and creating off the dribble. His on ball defense was lackadaisical today but he’s shown to be much better at that and he has the physical tools too. He’s definitely going to be a project but he’s has a ton of potential man.
@dagr8dwalo777
@dagr8dwalo777 Жыл бұрын
It’s not lackadaisical he cheats a lot defensively and he can get away with it at a lower level but not here. He plays up high to get into passing lanes and he get easy steals. He relays on the fact that if the offensive player gets by him he can still get the block. I noticed it when he played USA U18 team, where it was successful for him. His defense will not be an issue when he learns when to and when not to cheat. Offensively though he is far away from having the tools to be effective offensively.

He might need three years, right now he looks mainly like a wing defender at best. Got to see what he can do against brunson, kyrie, russ first. Hope Advija step his offensive game up and maybe Coulibaly will slide in eventually

idk how to feel, but im leaning towards not good. Defensively he's great in everyday but his offense is very concerning. When he sits off ball he good at making the right cut/movments but it all falls apart when her gets the ball in his handle. He has very poor ball handling, poor awareness and poor feeling for defenders around him.

@@rickeydaniel4509 for 99% of players you can’t teach offensive fluidity you either have it or you don’t. That what separates role players from the stars. I previously thought his ceiling was Giannis but after seeing him play I have to taper it to notch above OG, which is not bad at all. Im just speaking facts.

@@rickeydaniel4509 stats don’t encapsulate play style. Do me a favor and search “giannis rookie debut” and compare the to. If your operating in goodwill you will see the clear difference even though they are the same age and are around the same height and weight at the time.
