This is a fascinating area of research, whereby we can see improvements in patients who have chronic infections that impact the immune system with injections for the stellate ganglion. #shorts

What’s the difference between a SGB and Nerve Ablation?
@DrewTimmermansNDАй бұрын
SGB just temporarily blocks the nerve with numbing medicine, nerve ablation is killing the nerve with an electrode

Hello Dr. I’m curious to find out if you give the dual SGB injections at both C4 & C6, or just C6?
@DrewTimmermansND7 ай бұрын
Yes we do dual c4 and c6, and have for quite some time.

@@DrewTimmermansND Thank you 🙂. I’m in upstate eastern NY. A new clinic opened up near me that does this. I did some research to make sure they were legit. I have a consult later today. I’ve watched a lot of your videos, & plan to ask questions based on what I learned from you. I have severe ME/CFS. Thanks again. Your instructional videos have been very helpful to me.

@@DrewTimmermansND Extremely helpful. I’ve watched several. Just had my first one today. A question pertaining to this video. You said you do the duel SGB about 24 hours apart. Are there studies that suggest this is more effective, than if one waited a week or more between having the R. then L. done? Also, could you give me the name of the recent research you found on the neuroimmune benefits of the dual SGB? I have rather severe ME/CFS w/ OI & PEM. I used to be a research scientist in the field of molecular genetics, and I think I can follow along. I’ve done a great deal of research on my own condition, as I was misdiagnosed for 10 years until I found this treatment, & have learned a lot. I have some serious neuromuscular autoimmune GI related conditions l, which ixx so why this is of such interest to me. I’d be very appreciative. Ty for your time🙂

@@dshepherd107 Hello ...what's the difference in effect between c6 and c4 ...never heard of c4 before

How do I find a doctor who does this procedure? I've been dealing with severe long covid/dysautonomia since March 2020. I'm bed bound and desperate.

Google is the search engine you would use. I'm sorry you're going through this

It’s difficult to find them. There aren’t a lot. I’m near Albany, NY. I’m pretty severe too. I got very lucky as there’s a center with a DO who does this about 10 min from me. I’m pretty good at finding things on the internet. If you tell me your state, & city or town (or if that makes you nervous, give me your state & county), & I’ll see if I can find one for you. I was a trained research scientist in my old life. I know how terrible this illness is.

@@dshepherd107 have you tried it yet? It seems like most people aren't getting permanent relief. Funny, I have a background in research science as well. Now my brain is mush and I can barely read or look at a screen. I'm in Denver Colorado. That is so kind of you to offer 🙏

@@northernflicker1111 I have my consult this evening. Yes my brain turns to mush too if I do too much research at once, etc. It’s very frustrating. I don’t think this works permanently, but should last awhile before you may need another one. I’m out of options. This is the last treatment I’ve found, & I think it could work. If you want to wait til I get mine, I’ll report back to you what happens?
