Tbh what fix my depression and lack of motivation ended up being low testosterone since I was getting older. I dont wanna sound like an ad, but I finally inquired with my doctor. I gained weight, depressed, and had a general laziness and no motivation compared to my early late 20s (Im mid 30s). I have no stress, enjoy my job, diet same as before, same activity but yet gained weight and felt like shit. He requested bloodwork test and it showed that I had testosterone levels lower than an elderly man. So he put me on TRT. Started with the cream and immediately felt better. Increased the doses and tested frequently to watch my levels to return to normal. Now Im on intramuscular injections once every 2 weeks. He showed me and and my wife one time and now I can easily do it at home. I feel like Im in my early 20s again. Eager to go out and do things, and general happiness and energetic life. Wish i would've done it sooner. It transformed my life, and I know many men is at where I was, so I feel obligated to tell them to get their testosterone levels tested.

I'm under the impression that I can do anything at a high skill level given the time & interest...except marketing & telling people how great I am. I easily turn my back on that, lose attention, interest, & it lowers how much money I make. I just love doing the thing itself. Unfortunately...this is how I fell into depression & stopped playing music. I'm not depressed anymore, but I still don't market.
@AP-qb1hj
@AP-qb1hj Жыл бұрын
I used to feel similarly about marketing my skills, but honestly it's a very unnuanced and immature take. Marketing is actually extremely easy, it's as simple as writing a sentence or two on social media every few days. Having launched nft projects where 99% of success is marketing, I can honestly say it's worth learning and it's not nearly as painful as it seems.
@jadedbreadncircus9159
@jadedbreadncircus9159 Жыл бұрын
@@AP-qb1hj I agree with how mechanically simple you say marketing is, just like networking. When things are attached to something psychological they become a little more difficult. I get very sad & really down when I start doing any networking. The only way I was able to do it in the 3 years I searched for my first career position was to basically buddy buddy have fun, & just toss out general help to random people. When I would have to focus on questioning people in a company & showing interest in the company & telling people that I was perfect for a job, I would find this awkward & would lose interest within weeks or days. This is basically what most of the "Networking Tips" videos or articles boiled down to, & following that caused the conversation to be very stiff & die quickly. I only started doing the buddy buddy thing over 2 years into my job search. Unfortunately, I just gave up my career after over 600 apps sent out, since I couldn't even open Linkedin without feeling awful. I've been concerned about money for 15 years, & now being 40, I'm trying to focus on short-term gratification instead of the long term goals I've sunk years or decades into with no profit.

We are partnering up with reality and we get to either choose or become a victim to outside sercomestance... or we are co creating it... Go within.. or go without...what you resist persists. If you look at the illusion it disappears... we are making it all up. So co create what ever reality you want to see.

Depressions biologically are maladaptations to chronic stress that occur if you don't deal with the stress and don't have a well functioning support system. They could still happen in a good environment, but very unlikely. Basically, if you are obese, don't move much, eat junk food, don't lift etc you don't feel bad due to depression. You just feel bad because you aren't healthy. Real depression is rare af. Just go to a group therapy session and you'll see fat people complain about feeling bad, when it's in fact their own choice to feel bad.
