That happened to me kinda. I was chilling in the smoke section at work and a black chick who was hired at the same time as me was digging through her purse like she was looking for something and without barely looking at me first "you got any lotion?" And I'm like "you're asking ME? For lotion?!?" And everyone around me busted out laughing. They were all black people and a few white people who didn't know why it was funny like me. 😐

NGL I learned about lotion from Bill Burr... at the age of 30. But I always knew about being itchy in the winter.

I live in southern Arizona & around this time of the year it’s really dry, like 5-6% humidity dry. When I get out of the shower I actually do get ashy now (I’m sure getting older doesn’t help either). I use lotion after that, but don’t apply it during the day. I never used it for the first 40 or so years of my life, except if my hand were chapped in the middle of winter.

Im seeing Bill for my 40th Birthday next month in Hollywood FL. I can wait. I love him because, like Chappelle, he doesn't pull any punches. He says his peace.

That bit is so true. At least for white guys, we just don't use lotion. I am somewhat of an exception because I've got (a minor case of) psoriasis. But before I saw this Bill Burr bit, I just put lotion on the spots with damaged skin. Afterwards, I've increased the lotion distribution. 😂 I also discovered coconut oil. That's wonderful stuff.A couple of my psoriasis patches have either completely healed, and now I only have slight redness in my knuckles to remind me I've got to keep on applying lotion. For anyone with psoriasis, try coconut oil!

I have a bottle of lotion on me at all times. Back in 2012, my hands got so bad to where I had calluses on my palm and the side of my right index finger split at the big knuckle. I went to Dollar Tree, bought a bottle of Dermasil, and started using lotion after every time I wash my hands. They healed up within 3 weeks. I continue to do that as well as put lotion on my entire face after taking a shower because the skin tends to get dry and chafed if I don't.

i was watching the bill burr lotion one with his wife and people were recommending african butter now as a white guy we don't use lotion we straight throw whatever on and just walk out there looking like cracked skin.I heard alot of recommendation for palmers african cocoa butter and it was the best purchase.I use it after shower and just regularly everyday.I put it all over my body after cold shower i love it smooth,soft,makes my skin kinda glow and smells and feels amazing,i even wash my face with cold water and use it on my face and i love it white people needa step up their products and write some notes

So true, I’m a white guy who always got itchy in the winter because of the drop in humidity. Legs got so itchy I actually drew blood from scratching them. My wife asked what happened and I told her I always get itchy. She’s the one who told me to start using lotion and Aveeno body wash in the shower… problem solved.
