The animated comedy, "F is for Family," is inspired by the life of stand-up comic Bill Burr, who is a co-creator and serves as executive producer of the series. Burr voices the character of Frank Murphy, a short-tempered veteran who lives in the suburbs with his wife, Sue (Laura Dern) and their three children. Burr also hosts "Monday Morning" podcast. On the podcast, he speaks without reservation and off-the-cuff about his past and recent experiences, current events, going on tour, sports and offers advice to questions submitted by listeners.
BUILD is a live interview series like no other-a chance for fans to sit inches away from some of today’s biggest names in entertainment, tech, fashion and business as they share the stories behind their projects and passions. Every conversation yields insights, inspiration and plenty of surprises as moderators and audience members ask questions. It all happens several times a day live and live-streamed on BUILDseries.com.

I swear to god, after seeing almost every Bill interview..the key to getting Bill to go off on his legendary comedic rants is to make him uncomfortable early. As soon as it happens Bill takes the car fully off-road *LMFAO* . He can't just skid off the gravel and then get back on the road....he just goes off the road, drives over fences, runs over gardeners, clips kids playing in the yard and end up through the window of subway.....then if he hears _WOULD YOU LIKE A COOKIE_ ... *IT'S GAME OVER*

So a few things: 1. The interviewer is great, he knows exactly when to let bill speak, how to get clarification, and when to push him back on topic. 2 Bill Burr is great to the audiance. Even when he's making fun of them he knows how to turn it into a flattering moment, ie when he picks out the guy on the cellphone but then insinuates that he's on it because he's successful.

It's refreshing to see someone like Bill Burr. With him, you feel like you're watching an honest, upfront person talking about their trade and other things. It's not the usual promotional PR crap filled with rehearsed and repeated anecdotes. This kind of honesty in a person is usually detrimental to a career as the higher you go up the corporate and career ladder, the more bullshit comes with it. It's just natural. Bill might end there too now that he has a child and he needs more money, but so far he's still real. Also, this interview is exhibit A that you can't beat natural talent. Burr is just freaking funny, you can sit him in a room and he will make you laugh just discussing the surroundings. That's a gift. Cool guy and I hope all keeps going well for him.

Bill Burr is just so great at giving people a hard time that seemingly everyone can't realize he's just joking. It reminds me of being with your buddies and you tear into one another, but it's never at all personal.

Controlled fire on this interview. Bill killed it and turned around what could have been a boring interview. He's excellent at it,. His standup is even better. Make it out to a show if you can.

I saw this interview a long time ago and didn't remember how funny it was! I watched it again just now and I was cracking up. I just love how his mind works he literally has no filter. I will sit through his entire podcast of him talking about sports just for those nuggets of gold that come out in between. This interviewer did so good keeping up I have seen other interviews where the interviewer is just lost trying to talk to him. You can't force Bill to stay within the lines in interviews so good for this guy. Yea also the stuff he t talks about in childhood is so true I was terrified of my dad he never had to hit us that was my mom's job with the good old wooden spoon. Oh my god the 70s were fun but traumatizing a the same time.

i love watching interview going off tha rails and seeing the host adjusting to it. no fake laugh, no fake interest, the guys is being himself and just chatting. generaly i like the way this guy works, what is his name? couldn't find it in the video description. burr is amazing as always. i realized i enjoy his interviews even more than his standups.
