John seems to go off the stats a little too much these days, he did it with swift too. Sometimes you just have to watch the player a lot to know and it’s obvious when he talks about players he hasn’t watched Another great example is Rodgers, he thought he was some scrub at first and as soon as he saw him play he changed his tune, but he thought he was a scrub beforehand because of random stats. I like John, but even I’ve noticed lately he’s been getting lazier and more arrogant with his takes

I don't know why John is thinking that by utilizing Saquon in the passing game means that he's going to be running 10 yards out routes or streaking down the middle... He's there to be a check down, quick out route type of guy. So that there's a fuqqing safety valve for Jalen when the pocket breaks down or no one is open down field... It's not that complicated

I think they no team's are going to blitz Jalen until he proves he can beat it that's why there working on getting rid of the ball quick it's that simple

If John actually watched a lot of these giants games saquon played the oline was not only bad the decent linemen they had were injured most of the time and he had a good pocket passer in dj but cannot pass under pressure and the team didn't have a pocket I mean it was really bad for a while the only reason giants would win games is bc of the ground game with saquon and dj John u will eat them words 100%

AJ and Devante are great players but you can't throw to them every play, the defense will take them away if that's all they need to cover. That's why you have as many good players as possible so the defense isn't sure who the next play may go to

And u cannot just go off of stats u actually have to watch games to know this offense was basic as could be almost looked worse then college and the talent on the roster made this offense great the coaches just made it worse jalen hurts would change the routes presnap and that's when we would see great plays but mid-season they must've told jalen to stop bc u seen way less of him taking control

John McMullen was my favorite writer/commentator. I always found him to be reasonable and thoughtful in his positions...even posting this on his X (Twitter) account. Recently though, I am finding John harder and harder to listen to. I'm not sure if he feels the need to take up the Jody McDonald mantle of hyperbole and bad takes or is he becoming more like Bill Campbell (may he rest in peace) during the waning part of Bill's radio career...the cranky old man. He's closing in on being Dan Sileo-like

All of these talking heads are clueless. What makes you think that the Eagles would come out and tell you what their game plan is? Also I swear I must have heard a different presser that Jalen had. Yes, he described the changes in the offense, and mentioned the "95%" and people went crazy. The man literally said it's been a "fun process" and "this off season has been about learning" and that he hopes to learn Kellen's plays and then "master it and make his own"; but somehow from what Jalen said, some people came up with he's not happy.....smh

@@757CitiesReppa so, we really think he's happy learning ANOTHER offense? He's obviously frustrated about that part of things. Yes, of course he's glad to throw away what was bad last yr, but like a former NFL QB said, after signing a multi year deal, the very last thing a QB wants to do is learn a new offense. His 4th year as a starter should not be learning a new offense, but getting comfortable with what the offense already has been and correcting mistakes.

Giving the wrong coach credit for Indianapolis offense…will also give you the wrong answer about usage of the RBs. Whiny they have to tell the coach to “run the ball” every year? You think that coach is gonna PASS to a rb when he doesn’t even want to RUN with a rb. He was a wr himself.smh Brainiacs
