Warren NZ what’s great about cursing exactly? It promotes laziness in communication. It’s Pretty Much The Same as Using The Word Like in Every Sentence Because it Gives a Person Time to Think About What They Actually Want to Say. I dislike cursing because all it is is laziness. Real cursing is meant to express frustration. he’s not frustrated. he’s being paid to provide some kind of opinion so that you can relate. cursing doesn’t make him better as a comedian or as a commentator

Hearing Jim say that he won't be working with Woody Allen is such a relief to me. It feels like almost everyone who is talented in Hollywood has worked with that creep. Yes, he is iconic and talented. But guess what - There are other iconic and experienced directors who haven't molested young girls, and there are many talented directors who you probably have never heard of that haven't gotten the same chances to prove how talented they are, maybe because Woody Allen was in their way.
@alexandresilva34277 жыл бұрын

This is the way the world works. The more money/fame you have, the more you can get away with. This is how it always has been, and this is how it always will be. Until people get sick of it, band together, and do something about it, that will never change. And that will never happen.

Cellphone Dave actually, it’s pretty well-documented that TN blew through his money pretty quickly circa 1979-82. It’s like he expected the 1970s and his career to last forever. Some of it was mismanagement, and some of it was him overgifting friends and employees. His oeuvre has diminished in the past couple of decades, but he has made himself a “brand” by marketing his personality. Think shockjock with a big mouth, more known by the public today for his hunting exploits and his political diatribes

Aj Meyers Maybe it’s because he’s one of the few black man in the country who have promoted a change in overall black culture. Perhaps it’s because he’s one of the few black men to exercise very positive things in overall culture. Maybe it’s because he has done quite a bit of good in his life and the powers that be don’t like that he starred so much trouble. because prior to any of this, when he spoke, people really listened. and now all they do is judge And he may be guilty and it could just be one way to obliterate the reputation of someone that really meant a great deal to great many people. And There’s no Way to Know Because if we Doubt it, we Run The Risk That he Really Was Doing This to These Women. And if we Except it, we Are Completely Shattered That he Can be Capable of Such evil Things
@ajmeyers56617 жыл бұрын
+Vash Rein - *"...if we Except it, we Are Completely Shattered That he Can be Capable of Such evil Things"* - Why? There is nothing shattering about finding out that people are as capable of doing evil and they are of doing good; we're half a chromosome away from chimpanzees after all. Nothing good ever comes of hero worship. Of course this is just my two cents. On a side note I'd like to ask about the odd use of capitalization; what's that about?

Also, you can't say 'facts are facts' after a mistrial. Did he rape those women? Sure seems like it. But while saying 'the more famous you are, the more likely you are to get away with a crime,' while probably true, can be easily cancelled out by saying 'the more famous you are, the less likely you are to feel the need to rape someone' due to circumstances. I miss when he wasn't into the SJW stuff he is now. Still funny, but it seems disingenuous.
