I like how the details of the original are still present within this great arrangement

This is really great. I like the twist you added to the song. It's original, but still keeps the song completely recognizable.

Excellent version of one of my favorites. Of special note is the inventive and articulate trombone solo by Andy Martin. Super tasty.

I was told that Bill spent some time in Dayton Ohio, by a Sax player that jammed with him years ago, a very brilliant man capable of arrangeing this .

Excellent small combo performance of the classic composition by the late Oliver E. Nelson by Bill Cunliffe and his group. This performance and the soloists reminded me of the original recording which features Oliver Nelson, tenor sax, Freddie Hubbard, trumpet and Eric Dolphy on Alto Saxophone.

actually the original recording was by Lockjaw Davis' Big Band, on Trane Whistle, arranged by Nelson - wherein Eddie's tenor set fire to the recording booth

Que cette version de ce standard composé par Oliver Nelson est belle et travaillée dans les arrangements.

In this 10 minute piece, I heard more music than in every Bieber, Nickelback and One Direction song combined. Why has this great video just 25k views? This performance here is what *I* call music.

Thank you, Yoroichi. I'm a jazz lover, but if you want to promote jazz in American culture, the way to do it is NOT to say, "All of you people who listen to pop music are stupid cows." No one is encouraged to listen to jazz by an a--hole/snob. Love the music, support the music, be positive.

Nonsense. You either have it in you to like jazz or you don't. I've played jazz recordings to friends and family since I was a teenager, but they just don't get it - and never will. It's all in the psyche.

@jimmyjohntheEdgyone Yeah, I like Chet, too. Didn't listen to him for a long time because I accepted the oft-expressed view that he was just a mediocre pretty boy. Lesson learned.

They've gone to a great deal of trouble to ruin this tune. Not an easy task, but they've done it. The pianist and drummer are especially cluless.
