I love seeing this video, because you can see that this performance pre-dates the adoption of his signature "3 finger" technique!

@@canadianRadio it certainly does. Although having tried it before, I still feel most comfortable (and capable) using just my index and middle fingers to pluck. He was certainly a force to be reckoned with. RIP NHØP.

interplay happens when the musical perception: harmonic, melodic and rhythmic of musicians is as sharp as that of jazz musicians, who generally have in-depth studies in music. Before this gig he had recently lost one tooth in the front and later had it fixed. His teeth weren't that bad.

0:11 Re. the missing-seconds jump-cut in the film: Did Bill gave the camera the finger, or what?! Possibly a fnord became perceptible here and had to be excised. Maybe Bill was giving the *fnord* and all it *represents* the finger! Yeah, that's the ticket! Bill went *hard,* baby. ( ಠ ͜ʖಠ)
