The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation focuses closely on climate challenges, and 2024 will be a pivotal year for climate change. Former Microsoft (MSFT) President and CEO Bill Gates joins Yahoo Finance's Julie Hyman and Brian Sozzi from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland to discuss climate challenges and the impact that the 2024 election could have on climate change in the United States.
2024 election and climate impact
""I'm a huge believer in more generosity to poor countries, to help them with their climate challenges,"" Gates said. ""The U.S. government is the biggest player, and getting the group in that maintains generosity, spends that money well for health challenges and climate challenges. I hope we achieve that.""
Collaboration with current administration
""In both health and climate, they've been very engaged. I'm one voter, you might guess how I'm going to vote, but we've been able to work with every administration,"" Gates explained. ""It's human charity, it's caring, it's creating a stable world. So hopefully we can make the case no matter who's elected.""
Inflation Reduction Act
""The IRA has helped these early stage companies that my group called Breakthrough Energy has funded over a hundred of those companies,"" Gates said. ""And I'd say about 30 of them are able to go build pilot plants aggressively, because with the tax credit, they get bootstrap.""

It is incredible to watch that people are actually so dumb to think that our generation can cause climate change. My grandmother was living in the middle of the 20th century and was telling us stories that they had harsh times once finding food, growing weed and stuff because of the a pretty hot and dry climate situation that took years. They did not have TVs in their homes because TVs or other technologies that we use today weren't even invented :D And historical datas are showing that this planet had its very dry session in the 6th century, when people starved to death because of food outage. We are not in control of this planet. So leave people and their tax-money alone in order to get rich for a very hilarious hoax. This planet is far too powerful for us to affect its’ climate. So we must more likely concentrate on evolving our technology to leave this planet. Not with politics, theology or other ideologies can we survive this planets natural disasters.

Actually we can affect weather on the planet. Look up "operation Popeye" in the Vietnam War. Cloud seeding. Gates right now is using CHEMTRAILS to reflect the sun. Forbes and others will tell you. It is likely they are purposely going to hurt the climate to get their "Agenda2030" done.

Climate change = normal weather. What is negatively affecting our weather is the insane amount of pollution coming out of China and India. Makes no sense for any Western country to manufacture the air because we can mitigate pollution much better ourselves than they can. And, creating enormous dams that take away water from the normal flow of the earth for the sake of hydro power. Not to mention all the dams that are still there after Hoover's time that are completely unusable, has no infrastructure attached to them, and all they do is create homes for mosquitoes and fungus-like water. The use of our existing dams is pretty stupid too because lake Mead evaporates 800,000 gallons annually straight up into the air. So the way we manage our water is ludicrous. Instead of having unusable dams, it's better to just have the water flow into the earth, especially in California where there is so much drought. These unused dams have created additional drought. And there is no flow of groundwater, which is creating giant pockets of air in underground caves with additional risks for ground collapse. That would not be good in an earthquake. Where are all these incredibly intelligent scientists talking about that or are they just too busy staying in front of their computer? Do they ever go outside?
