Flatliners Comedy Club. The first 10 minutes of Bill in the 1st Texas Outlaw Comics stage show called Outlaw Comics Get Religion. It was at Houston's Comedy Workshop 1986. I (Steve Epstein) wasn't the funniest guy on it but I do get cred. for putting it together & more important taping it.

In 2001 after college I ordered all of Bill's material from Sacred Cow Productions. I had really no idea how much his wisdom would mold me into the person I am today. Still amazes me that 95% of the population has never been enlightened by this genius. I read a comment that said "I dont get the hype around Bill, everytime I sit stone faced without laughing". Didnt have the heart to tell him I felt sorry for him in many ways. His jokes need to be unpacked and the majority are mentally unprepared for a layered act. It's been over 25 years since his passing. Id give anything to hear his rants about our current administration.

I hear you. English is not my first language but the struggle to learn it was rewarded by understanding what Bill Hicks says. There are people who don't get him and people who do, anywhere in the world.

Its great seeing his bits that I've always known by heart done slightly different. This man was beyond. Not comparable to comics in any traditional sense.

its very clear and rational language. used by a very bright spirit. one of the brightest you can find on youtube. or anywhere. bill's awesome and as long a few people are smart enough to notice that, he is far from dead.

Really interesting to see a young Bill Hicks who still seems to be figuring out what his act is. I wish we could all see great comedians before they "became" great. It kind of shows you how long it takes to be comfortable on stage and how much time it takes to create your own persona.

Ohhh but you already see all of the elements of the 'comedy of hate'. I loved the "agents of fear" part (min 8:00) He would develop the concept later, but this might be the inception!

Actually his act was always not giving a fuck, because deep down he cares about what's REAL. He never had to find himself on stage either, he knew at 13, he just experienced different versions of that attitude, expanding his altitude whenever he took it to next level, evolving steadily while maintaining zero fucks given. Anyone offended by what he did, were Neanderthals and perceived attack before he even opened his mouth, that's the magnitude of his presence, way ahead of "his time" ... Atleast where he Dwells now, the latter is 3 dimensional and not such a drag... NOW HE'S REALLY LIVING ON THE EDGE, waiting for the return and implementation of all those mind expanding concepts shared, watching as those seeds take root.... finally ❤

I actually do have 3 accounts & what is kind of humorous is there used to be a comedy magazine called Laughtrack & I was featured in one issue as a up & coming comic & on the page right before mine Dennis Leary was featured. The difference is I never did Hicks material but I did inspire a few Hicks lines and in one show he had me write a song parody for him which he performed as Elvis.

Did Bill say that? because- "Officials in Connecticut and New York estimated the value of Twain's estate at $471,000 ($11,000,000 in 2022)." & although Hicks's Stallone impression was pretty funny Stallone grunted his way thru some damn entertaining movies.

Twain was in a lot of debt when he died. He went bankrupt due to failed investments I do my homework. And Twain is one of the greatest writers of all fucking time so just with that fact alone you have no argument at all.
