I kind of Miss O'Reilly on Fox News. Trump really destroyed that organization. Before the rise of Trump, Fox always had a right wing slant but there wasn't wanton lying and blatant misinformation. There were actually plenty of Americans who would alternate between watching Fox and CNN. Today, forget about it...

You’re forgetting about the IRS targeting scandal, the Fast and Furious scandal, Benghazi, his constant executive overreach, FISA abuses by his FBI in order to spy on Trump’s campaign, the destruction of Libya, the unchecked expansion of the ISIS caliphate, etc. Obama was a terrible president.

Benghazi was in fact acted on promptly, even though Mitt Romney tweeted some false narrative that Obama was sitting on news of an attack. There was no evidence of a mounting attack, Fox News said that the yearly request for increased budget was actually ‘a call for additional military aid’ and here we are. Libya, are you serious? At WORST the administration was complicit because it supplied to Saudi, but Obama had nothing to do with that civil war. Facts. Trump campaign was not spied on, only Trump claims this. The claim came moments after the FBI finished briefing Trump on the issue of Russian interference in the 2016 election. They went in to provide a simple briefing, and when they left Trump had already started tweeting ‘Obama was spying, blah blah blah’. Acting real non-suspicious. I know, I know, go on, tell me fact checkers are fake lol

PhoenixGraz I dunno, I think you're being a little hard on O'Reilly. It's okay for journalists to press for answers sometimes. He gets a little out of line at one point and Obama calls him on it, but I don't think he's too aggro in this interview. It was actually a good interview; the questions were kind of dumb and insensitive, but it's really interesting to see Obama handle those kind of questions and he did it really well in this interview. So I actually enjoyed the interview.

My favorite part of the interview is at 7:38 when O'Reilly says "Some people are saying.." and the president laughs a bit. The phrase "Some people say..." is a classic Fox News strategy to say things without having resources to back up the claims. Obama laughs when it seems he remembers who is conducting this interview. Fox news isn't just reporting about scandals, they're only reporting scandals affecting the president or potential democratic candidates (Benghazi is about Hillary) and dragging out these scandals long after independent or even hostile investigations have shown that there was no wrongdoing. The NSA and the extent of their surveillance is one thing that Bill didn't even mention, but it's a developing story that will prompt significant changes in how we collect information. The Benghazi attack was a tragedy, not a conspiracy. 501c (4) organizations permit a lot of wrongdoing and deserved strict scrutiny, as they quickly became ways to shuffle money around. Fox is misinforming its viewers, pushing an agenda, and bringing shame to journalism.

The reason he gets mad is because Pres. Obama doesn't give to the point answers. One thing that I have respect for Bill O'Reilly for is that in interviews, he expects people not to make personal attacks and to directly answer the question.

I work for a large corporation and every time they bring on a new software program it is generally a nightmare, just how it is. When Bill ask a question he is not really asking a question. He already knows the answer or the answer he wants. Bill you should run for president, since you seem to know everything.

If you want to put Obama on the spot you can't go at him all aggressive like what O'Reilly is doing. Obama's got good judo. You have to pin Obama down by using smarts.

Bill Oreilly doesn't conduct interviews but does a talk show with his guests where he is the main act and talker for the show. In an interview, ask a question then wait for a response. On the contrary, Oreilly asks questions and then responds with an answer to his own question and bully the interviewee by continually interrupting them in their response. What kind of journalism is that?

It's scary that you think journalism is asking a question & then nodding & smiling while the person being interviewed avoids answering the question or worse, says outright lies (. He didn't say when he found out the website had serious issues. He also skirted around why Sebelius wasn't held accountable. If you think Chris Matthews & his Obamagasms are the standard for how Obama should be interviewed, you are greatly mistaken.

Obama didn't give O'reilly an exclusive. The rule goes whichever networks turn it is to show the Super Bowl that network gets an interview with the President. Obama would never want to give an interview to FOX because FOX doesn't kiss his ass and FOX actually is a news channel.

O'Reilly didn't blow hundreds of millions of TAXPAYER dollars on the nightmare known as the UN-affordable Care Act. He works for a private company. Believe me, if anyone in the private industry had wasted all that money or made such a colossal mistake, he would have been gone, pronto. However, if the website "worked fine" for you and you actually bought usable insurance, congratulations. I'm happy for you.

Don't reporters report what people say? Some questions don't get fully answered when interrupted. I understand where you're coming from because reporters must get the information for the world to see, but some important details can get glossed over when interrupted.

I'm not going to watch this because I believe I know what I am going to see. O'Reilly will ask some very straightforward questions and Obama will say a lot of words without coming anywhere close to answering those questions. I do expect he will repeat a lot of political sound bytes that sound good but mean nothing.

Both men knew what they were agreeing to when they decided to do this. Bill is unrelenting with his questions, almost to a fault, and Obama's ability to side-step the brutal answers is immaculate. I respect the fact that even though they are polar opposites, they can still come together and do this and still respect each other when it's all done.
