---Bill O'Reilly has repeatedly blamed reports of sexual misconduct on a politically motivated media. On Monday, he admitted that he also blames a higher power.
"You know, am I mad at God? Yeah, I'm mad at him," O'Reilly said on the latest episode of his web series, "No Spin News." "I wish I had more protection. I wish this stuff didn't happen. I can't explain it to you. Yeah, I'm mad at him."
He then said that he derives perspective from the tribulations of others, including Kate Steinle, a woman who was allegedly shot by an undocumented immigrant who has been the subject of numerous O'Reilly commentaries.
O'Reilly's response to allegations of sexual harassment and inappropriate behavior has been consistent. He's emphatically denied the claims, insisting that his wealth and fame make him a target for such accusations. And he's denounced the press that has reported on the allegations - and the ensuing settlements -- as corrupt and desperate to take him down. --

Reminding that the elections of Bolsonaro and to less extent Trump were mostly an expression of fundamentalist evangelism.

Shit, there's been so much dirt on Bill-O that I had forgotten his love of shower exfoliation using middle eastern deep-fried balls. I do wish my giddy delight at Bill's pathetic predicament didn't come with the horror stories of so many women abused by this lech. It horrifies me how depraved he must be if it takes $32 million to cover it up.

Last Guy Minn true that. He may be innocent in the eyes of the LAW, but a LOT of people are gonna see the reported $32 million figure and think "boy that is a TON to hush $ to pay out if NOTHING happened." That is a LOT of smoke for there NOT to be a RAGING inferno behind it. I should mention that O'Reilly claims the NYT story is a fabrication. So, he paid $31.999 million and the Times rounded it up by $100?

What I don't understand is, why does he even care about losing his job? He has more money than god. What does he want to buy that he doesn't already own? My theory is that anyone who doesn't retire and devote their life to philanthropy after the first 500 million doesn't care in the least about their ability to buy stuff and support the next 20 generation of their progeny who will never have to lift a finger to support themselves. After a certain point, the only thing it represents to them is more power over other members of the billionaire class.

It's disrespectful, though.

I'm not sure who the co-host is that chimes in at 9:17 with a quip about Eric Bolling's son, who died of an opioid overdose, but that is massively fucked up and uncalled for. I can see Sam attempt to gloss over and move along from that comment, but it's just incredibly screwed up.
