What I appreciate most about his Pennywise is that it didn't replace Tim Curry's, it's just his own that is almost-if not as memorable. It doesn't feel like a re-cast, it feels like his own thing. Similar to Batman, it's just different but still good.

Brook-Lynn Lang he doesn’t live in the States, he lives in Stockholm where his girlfriend and daughter live, but he has to travel a lot for work. Alexander is the only of the Skarsgard siblings that lives in the US. Swedes (and Nordics in general) tend to have a very subtle accent when speaking English, not always but a lot of the time, to the point that it’s almost undetectable. Bill doesn’t speak with an American accent, he just speaks English very precisely.

Well, we should consider the fact that it could damage either character's presence in the sequels (hypothetical for The Joker) if he were to do a brilliant as a job as he did for Pennywise. It's wise to stick with one character and not go down the typecast route.
