I had a feeling she might be bisexual or lesbian;but I didn't want to assume what her sexual orientation is and sometimes I don't trust my gaydar. I mean because Billie dresses like a tomboy sometimes ,but that doesn't mean you can just assume what her sexual orientation is based on that. I mean I'm a somewhat macho guy who plays call of duty, halo, & battlefield and I love racing games and movies like fast and the furious, yet my bisexual ass still gets turned on regardless whether I'm seeing Henry cavil shirtless (damn he's gorgeous omg😍) and muscular in a movie or Whether I see Kat dennings cleavage in a skimpy outfit in a movie (that woman has an amazing figure and her bust is distracting to say the least she's to beautiful for words) People wouldn't know I'm bisexual unless they asked me, honestly Id come right out and admit to being bisexual, unless I felt unsafe and like I was surrounded by homophobic people or in an environment wher I can tell who's an LGBTQ ally/ fellow member of the LGBTQ + community and who isn't. which in that case I'd refuse to talk about it, because I don't want to lie, but I'm not putting myself in the cross hairs of gay bashers,because I don't want to have to worry about being the victim of a hate crime. Knowing my own experience as a bisexual man has made me aware that I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

As a bisexual man myself, I relate to this sentiment why can't LGBTQ+ people like myself and the rest of the LGBTQ community exist without experiencing homophobia & biphobia . We're just ordinary people trying to exist without being bombarded with hatred and Bigotry. We're not hurting anybody by simply dating and sleeping with the consenting adult partners we love that love us back regardless of their gender identity without being hated and persecuted for it. This video warmed my heart, And I related to the anxiety she had about coming out I was only 16 when I came out to both myself and my family and that was the most stressful but liberating experience of my life, but like Billie eilish I'm glad I did. 😊

To me, all the tough experiences that so many LGBTQ+ people have been through due to their gender and/or sexual/romantic orientation, is the main reason I don't see myself as part of the community, despite being bi, lol. Not that I DEFINE the "right" to be in the community by having been in some way oppressed, and I definitely do not impose thst on anybody else. It's just a me thing because in order for me to feel like a part of a group, I need a shared experience, not a characteristics. So for example, I don't really feel attached to fellow Poles by the virtue of us having been born/grown up in the same country. But I do relate to the culture by knowing the language, having attended to schools, reading books, watching movies, learning about history etc. Admittedly, I've never dated anyone, and I've never came out irl, but not because I'm scared to do so, I just don't think it matters that much. Unless it's a subject of a conversation or something, but I mostly talk about this stuff with people online anyway. So yeah I definitely relate to "just let people exist" kinda thing. I guess if I ever get into a relationship (and I'm not sure I will anytime soon, got some personal issues to figure out first) with a woman, that's when I'll get to identify as part of the community, because there's definitely gonna be a situation or two where we'll get in trouble with some fine folks in public, making a scene about two girls holding hands, idk. For now, I see myself more as an ally.

@@Kasiarzynka i mean i get that but at the same time, lgbtq experiences differ alot, like my trans lesbian experience is definitely going to be drastically different from other trans lesbian experience, and i mean as long as you know your one of labels under the lgbtq community you have some kind of experience even if it isnt alot, and talking about it online is technically also an experience, and even if your an ally your still part of the community, the only people who arent part of the community are homophobes and transphobes, i get what your saying but you dont have to be in a relationship to be part of the community altho i will say i understand alot becuase it wasnt until i started dating my last partner who was nonbinary, that i actually felt like i was part of the community, for alot of people its a big thing purely becuase its new to them and they are simply just figuring it out, but i mean reality is, it isnt a big deal at all, but becuase the world is so well heteronormative, it makes it seem like it is

I once had a teacher that told us that no one should have to come out, we should be loved and accepted no matter what. That no one should ever assume who we do or do not love and that we should never be made to feel hurt or endangered because of it. She also chased off groups of racists and antisemetics that were protesting and causing a ruckus when we had speakers talking about the holocaust at our school. She was so chill, she made sure we all knew that if there was anything at all that we needed help with then she would always be there for us. Be it dealing with bullying or harassment to needing certain contraceptives or advice. I loved that teacher, I’ll never forget you Ms Falk!

I always knew she was lesbian. Not saying all tomboys are lesbians, but there is a tendency, coming from a very observant straight guy here with very mild autism, who would also 100% be lesbian if I was a girl, girls just more interesting to me, also on a friendly level, than boys are, in general, there are also many girls I just can’t stand, but the more introverted, tomboy, “nerdy” type girls I like, nerdy meaning they enjoy like Anime or something like that, like I do, where it’s more about our mutual “hobby” when we’re together, sharing that, instead of just smalltalk, or hanging out with other people, just like being 1 on 1 with other people mostly.

So it's kinda a metaphor like "I wish you were gay so I didn't have to like you" and "I wish you were gay so you didn't love me just because you didn't love me, but because of your sexuality". Billie said this was actually about a guy she really liked at the time and she made this song about him, then a few months after he came out to her 🎉 but yea Billie is bi and the whole queerbaiting thing was rubbish, we luv bil

Find people who are supportive if you haven’t already. If you have friends or family who are allies or lgbtqia+, you will have a safe space to go to when you need help or need someone to talk to. If you are unable to do that, online spaces are good as well. If your dad is willing to listen and won’t hurt you, try to tell him that being lgbtq is not something anyone can change.
