Compared to her previous album, It's a flop. No big hit. So many singles which ultimately decreased the worth of album. I don't even see this album playing literally anywhere. When her last album came, it was all over the world especially bad guy, bury your friends etc.. sure, change is important and the album might be good but in terms of relativity, it's a bomb flop.

Actually is the opposite. She was extremely nervous (and almost quit) making her first album bc she had so much pressure for her debut and it was about charts. This is my absolute favorite reaction of hers. Of course I’m biased since I loved this album and she put a goddamn mark to every song, but a reaction video is always better when the reactor unabashedly enjoys what they’re listening to. Her reactions to this were so goddamn hilarious and were the physical culmination of what was going on in my head while I was listening to it, ESPECIALLY oxytocin. The way she didn’t understand what was going on in the song and what was going on with her body, but continued to boogy with full bugged out eyes was just… perfect. The way she fearfully put a goddamn mark to one of the songs like the FBI was about to bust through the wall. Just. Her best reaction.

I have to say after a year… this album deserved at least: "Pop vocal album of the year" "Record of the year" for Happier than ever, bc ... this is a f*cking masterpiece of musical background they have .. old soft stuff + more modern/contemporary original stuff .. amazing .. if you listen other pop artists on top with their albums Im sorry but Billie and Finneas are on another level .. they are revolutionizing music… Do we realize that they used a dozen musical genres in some songs there were elements of 3/4 genres together? using only a 60s minimal music? Her artistic signature is revolutionary ... the other artists have random production every time .. an album in one way and another in the other .. they don't have an artistic form they don't have this depth and they don't have this emotion and direct connection with their music how she has .. also because they often have 50 people behind them, what art is it if others are composing for you .. and you literally can feel the difference ... this is pure and authentic art .. this album 👏🏻 I think they didn't give them grammys because she has already 7 Grammys and then every time she won, she said she didn't deserve it so… but she and her brother are the ONLY ones who really deserve Grammys .. these are going beyond the limits that you have now of music.. they are like the real music legends of the past and unfortunately we no longer had that kind of innovative artists in the last 10/20 years.
@hoy68290 Жыл бұрын
I agree we haven't had these innovative experimental artists in pop music for more than 20 years only a few can be defined as such.. unfortunately very rare.. most of them are all commercial and people think I like them more = quality … NO … for 20 years especially in the last 10 years albums in the pop industry were almost all the same NOT innovative at all .. flat .. for me in the last decade the only ones who changed the pop game were Lana, Lorde and Billie for alternative pop evolution in the mainstream era. then obviously there are many other artists more innovative and good than them but no one knows them so people can't appreciate them, but these siblings have managed to attract the world audience risking everything with this different and not mainstream album to revolutionize it .. and thanks to Billie now the alternative pop artists are having more space and respect and their sales are increasing since 2020 .. in fact Billie has been credited for popularizing alt pop into the mainstream.. “she redefined the sound of streaming”.

The meltdown that took place when you discovered the switch up during Happier Than Ever at 31:21 was EVERYTHING your viewers were waiting on because we KNEW you were gonna lose your flipping mind 🤣🤣 Btw all those claps you keep giving to the producer...is for the one, and only, Finneas. And that is Billie's brother, who ALSO produced all her music beforehand. The man is a production genius!
