I felt this one because I was in a abusive relationship 7yrs ago I'm in a healthy good relationship with a amazing man now but 7yrs ago the guy I dated seemed like such a great guy to perfect actually until we were indoors and his ugly came out I was 14 and 15 he even raped me took my virginity by drugging me and let his brother and best friend take advantage of me too so I felt this song because he was very muliputive knew how to make you believe him my man I'm with now when I told him about my ex he cried with me and then he was pissed he wants to kill him for what he did to me it was really bad so bad that my ex almost killed me I got out right on time it took 6yrs to trust men and the man I'm with rn had to work his butt off to get me trust him but I do his the only man I trust besides my brother and grandpa even my best guy friend broke my heart which is another story now I got out of my shell I am myself again and our 1yr anniversary is September 28th don't worry my ex is in jail for abusing me and rapping me and 3 other girls and he killed a girl younger than me I blamed myself for that one because he left me by myself and I left the day the girl was killed he went to the back of his house and I ran away and I heard 5 rounds of a gun next week they found the body of the girl I was sitting in the room with I blamed myself because I left her behind but he called her and if I would have took her with me we both would have been dead so he got put in jail and his brother prison the best friend got 3yrs that's it so yeah I cried listening to this song I feel like screaming too sometimes yes I'm happy now and in a better place but now when I'm in the kitchen or someone yells I get flashbacks and start having a panic attack I have anxiety and depression I remember one time I was helping my man clean and I was in the kitchen and I heard fighting in the other room it was my man's roommate and her boyfriend and all of a sudden something got triggered and I started cleaning like a crazy person and my man walks in on me and I just fell to my knees panicking and crying and he just came over to me and told me to rest and just held me that is when I started opening up to him about my past and shockingly he opened up to me alittle bit about his past and we were both just a mess crying in each other's arms that's when I knew he was my person and I was in love with him so I can relate to Billie but I can also relate to happy songs
