The final piece in the Billie Eilish saga - her collaboration with Khalid, Lovely. Stripped of all of the words, the music is indeed 'lovely', but behind this disguise is a very melancholic song - though it is this oxymoron that is such a trademark of Billie's music, and is a reason why her music is on another emotional level than the majority of pop artists today. Some more practice and this will get better. Even more practice and you might even start seeing this as a normal/average piece. I was able to learn this one like a year ago, if not more within 2 weeks I think (im 14 lol), and I only come here again because his piano sounds sooo good.

7 years ago I started with playing piano, I never had a teacher and learned it all by myself with listening to the right tones, and then my parents got divorced and we had to leave our piano in the old house, I miss it so much.... I invested so much time in learning it and it makes me sad, I really want to buy one again

Hey I just wanted to respond because I’ve felt exactly how you feel. I have some advice and if it sounds like something you’ve heard I promise it actually works so please hear me out. Society tells us we gotta put on a mask and keep moving even when we don’t feel like it. The problem with that is that it’s ignoring the issue, the next time it comes back it’ll come back even more strong with hopelessness and depression ensuing. Also we have to answer why moving on is even worth it.. what are we striving for? Why are things even valuable? For we look around at the world and all we see is death. The 9-5 leads to dead ends and even the most successful will perish one day. Our self worth cannot be built off of success, as one day we have it and the next day we don’t. Even success in itself is temporary. I’d ask you to look beyond all the things that you can see. The most certain and truthful things in life are the unseen: mathematics, scientific laws, logic, love, our own thoughts and existence. I’d ask you to detach from the things you can see and realize the only reason they have value is because of the unseen things that you’re existence is based upon. And I know this is a lot for a one line KZfaq comment, but I really felt called to say this. After understanding those things I’d ask you to examine the possible existence of God. As a timeless, matter less, all loving being, God is the foundation upon which we can build our lives upon. If you have no experience with religion or a bad experience I would say good: it is people that twist the truth. If you want truth you have to go to the source. The Bible says seek and you will find, open up your mind to God and let him show you how much he loves you. He thinks of you more than the amount of stars in the sky, he has great plans for you! Finally I just want to quote one last Bible verse, where Jesus says: “come to me all who are weary and broken hearted, and I will give you rest”. Come to Jesus man with all your tiredness and hurts, he is the life you’re looking for, so much better than what this world presents.

There was a time, when i was 5, I started playing piano. I listened to Canon in D and thought I would never be good enough to play it. Now, 9 years and almost 3200 days and nights of practice later, this song made me look back at that time, and how far I've come since then. Just yesterday at the age of 14 I passed my trinity grade 8 exam with a score of 98. Never be intimidated by a milestone. Instead, find every other way to reach it.

Despite having the same melody as the first verse, he played Khalid's part at a lower octave. A very appreciable detail many others wouldn't even think of while arranging this song. Anyway, beautiful rendition of the song, enchanting as always.

I wish I could play the piano so much. It's a wish of mine for a long time. I am passionate about sound and each key brings me feelings and expressions that make me happy and improve my day. I'm sad because I don't have a piano and don't play, admiring is the only thing I can do, that's enough for me. It would be a dream to have one, but I know it will never happen...

I’m really enjoying learning this piece however, for future references, it would be very helpful if there were two colours to distinguish between the left and right hand. Beautiful piece, keep up the great work 👏🏼
