I’ve been to that stadium more times than I can count. My mom got discounted tickets from work and food was really cheap so I would just go there with family and friends whenever we felt like it really. It’s a damn shame what happened to it

Rhode islander here, the owners of the pawsox lobbied the state for a corporate welfare grant of $3 million so they could continue owning the pawsox while avoiding bankruptcy. Once the received the grant they immediately sold the pawsox. So they simultaneously stole $3 million from the state and destroyed our only triple A baseball franchise.

So quahog is just a made up suburb of providence you can see the skyline in the background.and a quahog is just a big clam and they use that cause it’s the ocean state known for the seafood. Compromise must be made. Current high schools can be renovated… The cost to build the new school is insane… Shea needs an addition, tolman is a fortress just needs to be updated. Both schools need an overhaul but that is the better option than building a new school. PS. The state of Rhode Island is pathetic for allowing the Pawtucket Redsox to leave, should have just allowed them to renovate McCoy, instead, they give millions to Curt Schilling.
