What does it look like to mourn with hope? After a long battle with cancer, Beni Johnson, Bill Johnson's wife, went to be with Jesus on July 13, 2022. She is now fully alive and free.
Just a few days following Beni's passing, Bill Johnson shares this honest message on dealing with pain and loss, and the importance of grieving with hope. In times of grief, though our mind wants answers to many questions, what we really need is to be close to the Person of Jesus who comforts, loves us so much, and understands all things.

That's the truth. I've never been to Bethel, but I've watched through recent years. The fruit of Pastor Bill Johnson's life is what speaks loudly of who he is and Who's he is. The proof is on the fruit. What an amazing example of, like you said, full devotion to Jesus. 🙌🏻 Praise God.

It amazes me that in the middle of his great loss, his grip on the Lord is so strong that he can encourage the rest of us to also reach for Jesus in times of loss. One of the most anointed messages I've heard him preach. May God bless Him and all of Bethel with the greatest revelations of our Lord's love and comfort in Jesus' name.

I lost my wife of 28 years 14 months ago to cancer after a 13 mo fight. Its a mystery why we didn't see the healing, but I know she is supremely blessed in his presence right now, and I know that my children and I will see Him work good out of it for us. She is not cold, still, and done like her old physical tent, but right this second she is more ALIVE than any of us have ever been on this earth, more intelligent, more full of grace and love, more full of joy, no hindrances, no ambiguity. This is what Beni and Leslie are experiencing right now - more alive and at peace than we are. We who are in Christ will go to them and enjoy eternal friendship that is even better than the highest of marriages here on earth. Thank you Jesus for all that you have in store for us THEN, but also for the heaven we have yet to bring to earth on this side.

I am really sorry to hear that. Losing my single mother who was my all in all at a young age was undescribable but I love the way God supernaturally wrapped me in his arms from then till now...as years go by the pain is more bearable. I pray for you and your children. May God wrap you in his arms tightly.

Man your decieved. What price, not having to work physical labor like everyone else, making a million dollars just to stand there and preach a bunch of powerless false teachings on Sunday, write books and sit back and do nothing while crowds of people cheer them on and call them amazing practically worshipping them. He hasn't paid any price at all. He's milked people and there desperation for the father to live like a king in palace. He's the utter opposite of the gospel. And his followers so utterly decieved they are blinder than blind and cannot see what's right in front of them.

My wife asked me this morning how Bill’s wife is doing, and I said I wasn’t sure then this afternoon I learned of the news. Our hearts go out to the entire Johnson family. We are in a war, and in warfare some are lost in the battle for a multitude of reasons. Some of greatest number of casualties in warfare are due to disease. Some are due to the enemy, some are self-inflicted, some are taken prisoner, some are grievously wounded, some are just in the wrong place at the wrong time. But those who are alive and well must press on not forgetting the loss, but in honor of the loss to continue the battle. This why many wounded soldiers are so adamant to return to the fight. Mourning has its own healing balm; it's called Love that's greater than loss.

Pastor Bill, our 16 year old daughter passed away the same day as Beni. This sermon came right on time in the middle of our grief. We needed to hear this, Beni’s passing led to this sermon and we know that God is already using her life to bless ours. Thank you for getting on that stage, even though it was hard. Bill, having lost my late wife BJ to a 4 year battle with liver failure in 2010, having lost my first wife to a very much unwanted and painful divorce in 1992, having list my only two children to miscarriage in 2012 and 2013, and having list my mom to colon and liver cancer in 2003, and having seen God miraculous work time and time again to lead me faithfully through those valleys of the shadow of death, I am saddened for you, yet I know beyond doubt the Lord will comfort you in similar fashion to how He has comforted me! God bless you my brother!!!

Yesterday my closest uncle's funeral, who died for cancer. 💔 I know i cannot talk to my brother Bill, but Bill, thank you so much for your faith, for this message and for all that you are doing for, in and with Jesus. I am terribly sorry for Beni.... i still cry everyday for my uncle, i just cant imagine, truly, what it is at your place.............. but we know they are not dead, they are still alive. More than ever before. A big hug from Italy, full of comfort, in Jesus, our Lord and friend. Love you so much. We keep staying united to Jesus as never before.

My dad was murdered in 2015 and lingered in ICU for 13days before he went to heaven and I will never forget a couple of days in my completely deaf mother who loves the Lord with all her heart came into the ICU waiting room and loudly announced that God had clearly said to her in the night that either He was still God or He wasn't it was my choice. Wow my choice seemingly easy but not. In that moment I chose to forgive and thank God for still being my God through my dad's murder and the ongoing open investigation. I chose God it really is a choice like forgiveness it's a choice 💗

“The Communion Revival” Yes 🙌 it’s coming I believe it will very soon! Pastor my husband who’s not Christian dreamt of JESUS today !!! Jesus told him to get up because he has work to do!!!! My husband came to me astonished by that and he was describing me the face of JESUS in that dream I’ve been praying so hard for the Lord to draw my husband and my two boys towards JESUS so they can open their heart and invite Him !!! I said to the Lord that I believe that the Only way for my husband to become Christian is for JESUS to speak with him in his dreams and it’s happening !!!! it just started today !!! Pastor my husband is Muslim and I’m sure he’ll come to JESUS for sure I just hope I’ll be around to witness it !!! “The communion revival” is happening!!!! We have to press on our prayers for that 👉💪🙏 Beni is living ✨✨✨

@@kennysacht7946 Now that after 25 years of marriage and two beautiful sons (24 & 19) and a lovable husband I’m quite sure that God had put me in that position for a reason. I married this man because he had ethics and close to the love of God and fear of God humble and has wisdom more than I have sometimes!!! but in the same time doesn’t have the boldness that I have as a Christian with the Love of JESUS. He is very liberal but yet very much attached to his traditions and defending it saying stuff that are sooo much different than the freedom and confidence JESUS had granted us. I wish he could feel it experience it but he won’t take the step to jump in the waters! as he’s attached to “what would people say…or what will his family think…or saying stuff like God has prophets not son!!!” Sometimes we argue about my beliefs but I know it’s not him arguing it is the devil trying to overturn my family ups side down and trying to create doubt in my thoughts or frustration because I’m different so I do my best and I resist….I pray I take a knee and I pray again and again… The wholly spirit lead me to read John 17:20-26 where JESUS prayed for us. Alllll of us and when I read “Father they are your gift to me….” Then I realized that the Lord doesn’t want me to leave them in this part of the world He wants me to take them to the other part !!!! He wants me to bring them to Him !!! He’s using my knowledge to speak up the word !! The Lord is using that challenge to make me grow in Him. Every time I get closer and understand more the word i get a fight at home or a comment about what I’m reading or listening to ect …. It’s too easy to let go but if the Lord is granting me access to the difficult it is because I’m working on becoming up to the level 💪 and yes they will become allll Christians and I believe since my husband is the most stubborn and attached to his ethics I believe that he’ll see JESUS in a dream and where JESUS will do the miracle and ask him to follow Him and shine ✨ YOU SEE ! Yesterday he had his first dream with JESUS!!! Thank you Lord 🙏

Came here from recommendation through my life coach. My mothers passing date is July 24th 2020. Since then I’ve found depression which led to the addiction of alcohol. As a result my fiancé and best friend left me and I feel more lost than ever even after 8 months. Trying my hardest to be taken into the hands of God and believe everything will be okay especially after feeling this alone. Please pray for me

1 Thess 4 v 16 - The night my grandad passed away … I was beside myself with concern that I had witnessed but had not led him to Jesus before he passed. I was so sad, just going to bed wondering where he was .. I was talking to Jesus saying sorry etc etc etc.. the a profound thing happened I had a scripture reference pop into my mind as it was 1 Thess 4 v 16. I had no idea what that scripture was so I got my Bible as I was curious “16 for the lord himself will descend from heaven with a loud command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of god, and the dead in christ will be the first to rise.” Only a loving Heavenly Father can do that when the enemy tries to condemn in a time of grief… all the ‘what if’s’ we gone in a moment!

I’ve been a follower of Jesus since I was 4 years old. My timeline here has been an interesting journey. I lost my husband of 34 years last year. Suddenly without warning. In 2020 my son was going through anxiety with the lockdown of his school. His friend that would just show up and drive him around committed suicide on the day his dad died. Our journey together just got painful. Life cannot be worked out here without Jesus who brought Love down from Heaven. He was willing. Pastor Johnson thank you. I still struggle every day in this new part of my relay. May you be intertwined with love and comfort in yours. ❤️

I understand your sorrow. When my oldest daughter died in 2018 I struggled to stay in peace, to praise God as a healer, to accept that ALL things work together for good, to maintain my trust but God covered me and though I never lost my faith, at time it was hard for me to pray and praise. As I continued in praise and worship even when I wasn’t “feeling” it God gave me peace that keeps me focused on Him.

During the most difficult situations all we can do is to bear our souls, pain, and heartbreak to the Lord. He takes our reality, our brokenness and he brings comfort in the midst of the pain. Just yesterday in prayer, God started clarifying the message of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet. He told them to realize what he had done for them & to do this for each other with a servant’s heart. We, as the Body of Christ, are to wash/help prepare others to commune with Jesus, to learn of Him & be filled with His holy presence-to partake of His life. The last part where Bill says we are going into a time of worldwide revival of Communing-resonated so deeply & in sync with that word about serving to prepare others for His presence. We are that broken bread & blood-His body-to feed His sheep… to usher His children into ABIDING in Him/communing with Jesus. That’s our calling in this pivotal moment in history. ♥️🕊

I lost my husband 6 years ago as of this 9/9/16 to heart attack. We were married 38 years and I was comforted knowing he was ready to stand before God. I miss him and continue to put my trust in God to provide everything I need in my singleness walk.

Believing His Word is True and knowing when our beloved took their last breath here on earth the breathed their first breath in Heaven. I just lost my little brother to overdose. My heart feels like it has a large gaping hole. I don’t know how to process this valley, this pain is so foreign. It is around the one year anniversary since my mom’s death and graduation to God’s arms in heaven. I’ve struggled so much in this past year, questioned and cried late into the night, feeling the loss of time together through this season of life raising children. She is a wonderful mom, loving grandma and I miss her physical presence. But I must rejoice. I’ve been encouraged to not constantly seek the need or right to understand fully, just receive His peace. Return my trust to a childlike state.

Wow. What an amazing message. I know this grief. My wife passed into eternity 11 years ago from cancer at the age of 44. I wrote her eulogy but there was no way I was going to deliver it at her funeral because I couldn't have gotten through it without breaking down - I had one of the elders read it. Since that time I have had dreams where I've seen her in the great cloud of witnesses, rejoicing, beaming and radiant with the presence of God. This has been a great comfort.

I remember once “hearing” that if he ever makes a mistake, God covers him. This beautiful message of truth, seeking the full reward for Jesus in a time of pain, reminds me of why I would “hear” that.
