Thank you for the Awesome video, West Virginia is my favorite state, it's actually in my backyard only 15 miles to the border, I'm very Thankful for this wonderous state!

I see you made it up on the Mower Tract. That, to me, is Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. Just you, and God's Country. Probably my favorite!

Just now able to watch your video. And, of course as always, it was great. When you drove across that small creek it reminded me of where my mom grew up. She literally lived across the creek and up the "holler". lol. That is always how she used to tell me how to get to her childhood home in Ravenswood, WV. I am so glad that somebody (other than people from WV) loves our great almost heaven state. Thank you so much for your kind words, Bill. We really are good people in spite of how we have been betrayed in the past.

West Virginia is turning into one my favorite places. I'm telling my friends who love the outdoors to visit West Virginia now before the word gets out as to how great it really is.. West Virginia is unique. When I was a kid, East Tennessee was similar, and there were small regions still remote, and wonderful. 30 years later, and it's gone. East Tennessee is still wonderful, don't get me wrong, but it's not as wild and wonderful as it used to be. People don't realize what remains in West Virginia is precious, and they've gone to great lengths to protect it. Bill

Once again. A very well made and edited video. Beautiful scenery. Though not the normal genre that I watch I always enjoy your videos... I can say so privately what I cannot say publicly which is why I am saying it here…I love WVA. We native born Virginians are not allowed to publicly say so ( not since the bigfeet and teethbrush wars of the 1870s ) Though many of us secretly love the wild and wonderful mountain state and many more of us given the current moral and political climate wish West Virginia would annex Virginia… But that’s just between you I and that fence post ....

Yes, I've been made aware that Virginians are not allowed to love WV! lololololol TOO FUNNY! I picked up on that when we first moved to Harrisonburg. That's hysterical! I love this whole region! I think a lot of people feel the same way you do politically. From what I've learned the northern part of Virginia kinda controls the rest of Virginia.

Moving to WV for college in a couple of months. Always loved hiking and taking the backroads. This video was wonderful. Appalachia truly is beautiful country. You can bet yer butt that I'll certainly be doing a lotta driving/exploring every day off I get.

Bill, I sent this to my Dad down in Salem as he has also back packed and gone skiing in WVA and will no doubt recognize this area. In addition to Cranberry, I know we've also been to Dolly Sodds. Great memories. BA

The only problem with crossing the mountain to West Virginia (I've learned that regardless of where one accesses West Virginia, he or she must cross a mountain) you have to make a day of it, and even then, it's not quite enough. I feel rushed when I visit. I think a lot of people run into that, and I don't want it to change. I mention this in a roundabout way at the end of this video, when talking about "salt water taffy," and "mountain fudge." It's not like visiting Polk or Monroe Counties in East Tennessee, where you can be back to civilization in time to wash the mud off your truck and catch the news. I have to make specific plans when crossing the mountain into West Virginia to make a video, or I'll lose too much time/money. But like I said, I don't want it to change at all. I love it.

Great video Bill and Carolyn. Maybe you should invest in a small camper you two. Debbie and I have a new Jayco 145rb nothing better then having your own place to stay on the road

I like roaming around in WVa. I go twice each day,I just wish Bland county could become a part of WVa.,then maybe we could have a Tutors Biscuit World put over here in Bastian.LOL I had too get a couple of the Rocket Biscuits this morning early and a big tall cup of Black coffee.I love their Biscuits the Thundering Herd is a good one also ,but they are all good.
