I love how it implies Gladys was already somewhat mentally unstable before all of this & needed meds 😆 That makes it even more wholesome how Harold initially takes her seriously and investigates before thinking she's crazy about undead skeletons.

As someone else pointed it out, Harold having nightmares about Santa Claus may have been due to having the unfortunate luck of encountering him during one of the 6 or 7 times he was turned into a vampire by Mrs. Claus. Even as an adult, Billy and Mandy's continuity still surprises me.

Even seeing that he’s an ex navy seal and his father was very adamant about him not doing “girly” things one can assume he joined the navy to please his father by doing something he would consider manly Edit: The more I remember, he kind of had no choice but to go to the navy because his Harvard acceptance letter was stolen by the tree

Well, it's no wonder he has nightmares, imagine just going about your daily life and you see a vampiric Santa Claus trying to claw off your face? Nightmares for years, and considering with that episode that vampire was the type to hide and wait in the shadows so he must of caught Harold completely by surprise.

Harold's surprisingly chill considering his son is constantly hanging around Grim. He even mouths off to Grim, insults him (directly or indirectly), and generally doesn't seem to mind or care that the physical embodiment of death is looming close by at any given moment. It's entirely possible that Harold simply isn't afraid to die, and thus isn't afraid of Death either.
