@@spockboy I also absolutely despise exec-speak, especially when they've no idea what the word means. I've heard of 'Paradigm modeling' (Paradigm means 'Model'), and of course 'Quantum leap' - a term so widely misused the Oxford English Dictionary now has the definition of Quantum as both large and small.

Billy, you're brilliant and spot-on (as you might say) most of the time, but this American must protest. What you were ridiculing here is not standard American English. Some people have learned words from others who mispronounced them ("nucular"), and some seem to have trouble getting their mouths and tongues to work properly ("anenomes"). Yes, they're wrong, but they can't help it. Should we make fun of them? I don't think so.

"but this American must protest. What you were ridiculing here is not standard American English." and he agreed with that before you said it. He mentioned an American woman and Bush but many of different countries people would pronounce it Bush's way. Pick a country of the world and you'll find some pronounce it bush's way and some in the same country pronounce it the way Billy said. The false title made you think of it a brit VS American way. Only 2% romano brit dna exist there. Billy has no brit dna like most people living there. He's not into religious cults or monarchy families. He didn't mention brit vs american.
